Conor McGregor has broken his silence - kind of - after rapper Azealia Banks accused him of sending nudes, which have now been spread across social media.

The former UFC champion, who hasn’t fought in the Octagon since a loss to Dustin Poirier in 2021, finds himself in the headlines for all the wrong reasons once again.

McGregor was accused by American rapper Azealia Banks of sending unsolicited nude photos to her via direct messages on X.

Banks, 34, shared two explicit mirror selfies she claims were sent by McGregor. One image allegedly included the caption “Lifting weights,” with McGregor’s genitals seemingly strapped to a dumbbell, per the Mirror.

A message accompanying the images reportedly read: “Don't be a rat cos all rats get caught.”

“How you gonna send a b**** a some crooked d*** pics then threaten her not to tell,” Banks wrote in the caption, tagging McGregor’s official handle. “@TheNotoriousMMA n**** do you know who the f*** I am? This is HARAM.”

In a second post, Banks added: “Like how are you really going to sexually harrass [sic] me with the potato farmer d*** then threaten me not to tell???? Honey…… ain’t u trying to be the president of Ireland what is it giving fam? Use some f***ing sunscreen damn.”

It remains unclear if the images are genuine.

Despite this, the Irish UFC star seems to be ignoring all negative messages sent his way, as he has broken his silence but not directly acknowledged the allegations.

He recently turned 37 and marked the occasion with a brief post on X (formerly Twitter), writing simply: “Happy birthday to me!”

The scandal escalated rapidly online, with Banks accusing McGregor of "sexual harassment" and questioning his reported political ambitions in Ireland. Notably, she pointed out that McGregor doesn’t even follow her on X.

And if that wasn’t enough for the McGregor household to deal with, the nude photo controversy emerged just one day after the Irish fighter was spotted in a separate controversy - this time on a Florida beach.

The 37-year-old was seen cozying up to a dark-haired woman who was not his fiancée, Dee Devlin, during a jet ski outing in Fort Lauderdale.

Photos appeared to show McGregor kissing the woman, sparking further public scrutiny.

Despite the storm, Devlin, who has been with McGregor for 16 years and shares four children with him - Conor Jr, Croia Mairead, Rian, and Mack - chose to post a subtle message of support.

On her private Instagram story, she uploaded a series of photos and a birthday tribute that read: “Happy Birthday to the person who always keeps Dee entertained and makes her smile.”

The couple got engaged in 2020, and Devlin has historically stayed quiet about McGregor’s various public missteps.

She famously stood by him during his civil trial over a 2018 incident in a Dublin hotel room, where he was found liable for sexually assaulting a woman. A jury awarded the accuser £200,000 in damages last November.
