Danielle Bregoli, 16, shames 30-year-old boxer for sliding into her DMs

On September 14, 2016, one problematic teenager's life was changed forever when she was interviewed alongside her mother on Dr. Phil. The title of the segment was: "I Want To Give Up My Car-Stealing, Knife-Wielding, Twerking 13-Year-Old Daughter Who Tried To Frame Me For A Crime".

However, instead of calmly taking Dr Phil's advice, teen Danielle Bregoli lashed out at one audience member and told her: "Cash me ousside, how bout dah?" ("Catch me outside, how about that?")

Check out the infamous moment below:

Fast-forward to January 2020, and Bregoli is now a 16-year-old rapper by the name of Bhad Bhabie with more than 17 million followers on Instagram.

However, it seems that not everybody is aware of the young star's age (despite having "Bhabie" right there in her stage name).

Professional boxer Adrien Broner, 30, may boast an impressive 33-4 record in the ring, but Bregoli has delivered a metaphorical knock-out blow for the sportsman after he slid into the teenager's DMs via Instagram.

Broner allegedly direct-messaged Bregoli on Instagram, writing: "Text me crazy girl".

In response to the message, Bregoli posted a screenshot of the message, along with a clip of Akon's music video for his song 'Locked Up' - an apparent reference to their 14-year age discrepancy.

You can see the now-deleted post below:

Bregoli’s fanbase quickly rallied to support the rapper; flooding Broner's social media pages with comments and even going as far as to tag organizations like the FBI and Atlanta Police Department.

Below is a screenshot of several comments on Broner's most recent Instagram post:

In response, Broner quickly reached out to the gossip website The Shade Room in order to give his side of the story, claiming the message was an "honest mistake" and that he was unaware of Bregoli's age.

Broner said: "Nobody [wants] to date a kid but I fault Instagram for not having people’s age on they profile. I thought she was grown the way she out here moving."

As stated above, Bhad Bhabie has since deleted the post, but it is still unclear whether she and Broner have had any contact over the uncomfortable situation. She has also added her age to her Instagram bio:
