Disturbing footage resurfaces of 19-year-old Demi Moore kissing 15-year-old co-star
A resurfaced video of Demi Moore has left people across social media stunned, unsettled, and openly questioning what they’ve just watched.
The footage, reportedly filmed in 1982, shows a then-19-year-old Moore kissing her General Hospital co-star Philip Tanzini — who was just 15 years old at the time.
While the clip originally aired decades ago, it has now re-emerged online, triggering a wave of criticism and debate.
1982 Video Shows Demi Moore Kissing 15-Year-Old Philip Tanzini
The clip was first shown by Entertainment Tonight but has since resurfaced on social media platforms, where viewers quickly began focusing on Tanzini’s age.
In the footage, Moore turns toward Tanzini and kisses him. The pair continue kissing until a singer begins performing Somewhere Over the Rainbow.
The moment doesn’t end there.
Later in the video, Moore and Tanzini are seated at a table during an interview, with a small child positioned between them. Despite this, Moore once again leans over to kiss the 15-year-old actor.
After kissing him, Moore tells the interviewer: "He's one of my favourite people ever," before adding: "I love Philip."
At the end of the segment, Tanzini makes a joke about their dynamic, saying: "We're going to get married by the way, don't let her husband find out."
Moore responds: "I can't wait."
At the time the video was filmed, Moore was married to Freddy Moore.
Social Media Users Call the Footage ‘Disturbing’ and ‘Creepy’
Although the footage dates back more than four decades, its recent circulation online has reignited strong reactions.
Many viewers described the clip as “disturbing” and “creepy,” expressing disbelief at what they were seeing.
One Twitter user wrote: "Demi Moore kissing a 15 year old boy. Because she could."
Others argued that the behavior shown in the video was wholly inappropriate, regardless of who was involved.
One commenter said: "This kiss wasn’t a quick peck on the cheek, or even the lips. It wasn’t a one-time thing, either.
"And I really don’t care that it was from a woman, let alone Demi Moore. It’s disturbing — at the very least, extremely uncomfortable."
Another user directly addressed those making light of the situation, writing: "Been reading these responses and some err on the ‘good on you, boy’, but why wouldn’t you question why an older actress is properly kissing a 15 year old school boy?
"Those are real kisses and not a quick peck on the lips. Too weird. Ask questions always."
A third person raised the issue of double standards, asking: "If she was a man and that was a 15 year old girl what would you think?"
