The two men couldn't be more different in terms of looks and height; but ever since they starred in the Jumanji sequel, and later in the Hobbs and Shaw, Fast and Furious spin-off, they've become as tight as butt cheeks, They even dressed up as Batman and Superman at a recent costume party.

However, this week The Rock cemented his bromance by revealing that he'd made a major personal sacrifice in his friend's time of need. In an appearance made on The Kelly Clarkson Show, The Rock stated that he'd cut his honeymoon holiday short to look after Kevin, following Hart injuring himself in a car accident.

The wrestling superstar recently married his long-term girlfriend of 12 years Lauren Hashian this month, in an emotional Hawaiian ceremony. The honeymoon period had been equally laid-back, with Johnson enjoying some time with his new spouse and family in Hawaii - taking a well-deserved break from his busy schedule.

However, when he learned that Hart was in distress, the Rock immediately broke off the honeymoon and came to his aid. Hart was hospitalised after a car he'd been riding in crashed in West Valley, early on the morning of Sunday, September 1.

Taking to Twitter later, The Rock posted a clip from the interview and wrote: "When my son @KevinHart4real goes down with an injury, his big daddy steps in. I did leave my honeymoon early (Lauren approved cos she LOVES Kelly) and now me and Kelly are new best friends. [sic]"

Following the news of the crash, Johnson took to Instagram, uploading a picture of himself and Hart riding camels while filming the upcoming Jumanji sequel, which he captioned: "Stop messing with my emotions brother @kevinhart4real. We have a lot more laughing to do together. Love you man. Stay strong. [sic]"

Hart's 1970 Plymouth Barracuda crashed from Cold Canyon Road onto Mulholland Highway, when driver Jared Black lost control of the vehicle. In a video obtained by TMZ, the comedian's wife Eniko Hart told reporters that Hart was on the mend and not seriously hurt.

However, that doesn't mean that The Rock isn't capable of ribbing his pals a little bit, and he recently trolled Kevin while working out with his daughter at the gym.
