Emilia Clarke has revealed that Jason Momoa got her "as drunk as humanly possible" during their recent reunion.

The Game of Thrones star, 34, recently caught up with Momoa, her on-screen partner, for co-creator David Benioff's birthday celebration, and she told PEOPLE that the actor, 42, knows how to party.

"Oh God, it was beautiful," she said. "When Jay's in town, you know it's going down."

"He walks into the room and you're just like, 'My man,'" Clarke continued. "It's almost like a test, every time he sees [me] he's like, 'Can I still throw you around the room? Yeah I can.'"

She then explained that he proceeded to get the group "as drunk as humanly possible."

Clarke said that she tried more whiskeys than she'd ever had before in her life at the event and explained that while some were tasty, there were others that tasted like "paint stripper".

However, she joked to herself that they would put hairs on her chest.

In case your memory needs refreshing, Momoa played Khal Drogo on the first season of Game of Thrones, but while his character only featured for one season, Clarke's Daenerys Targaryen featured in all eight seasons from 2011 to 2019.

The two actors went on to share pictures from the birthday bash on their respective social media last month.

"When your sun and stars rolls into town you check that he can still bench press a Khaleesi," Clarke captioned the post.

Sharing pics with his own followers, Momoa wrote: "MOON OF MY LIFE. you are wonderful love u forever @emilia_clarke #smilelyeyes", before going on to share his birthday wishes with Benioff.

In a recent interview about his role as Drogo with the New York Times, Momoa called out an interviewer over a certain "icky" question.

Momoa took umbrage with the phrasing of a particular question that implied he may have regrets about having played a character who sexually assaults Daenerys Targaryen on their wedding night.

David Marchese, a journalist at the publication, prefaced his question by explaining that the HBO show "inspired a lot of discussion about its depiction of scenes of sexual assault and its treatment of women generally."

He then proceeded to ask Momoa: "Do you think differently today about those scenes? Would you do one now? Do you have any regrets? Those types of scenes can seem as if they belong to an older cultural moment."

The actor responded: "Well, it was important to depict Drogo and his style. You’re playing someone that’s like Genghis Khan.

"It was a really, really, really hard thing to do. But my job was to play something like that, and it’s not a nice thing, and it’s what that character was. It’s not my job to go, 'Would I not do it?' I’ve never really been questioned about 'Do you regret playing a role?' We’ll put it this way: I already did it. Not doing it again."

At the end of the interview, Momoa told the interviewer: "I wanted to bring something up that left a bad feeling in my stomach. When you brought up Game of Thrones, you brought up stuff about what’s happening with my character and would I do it again. I was bummed when you asked me that."

Describing the question as "icky", Momoa explained that actors have no creative control over the depiction of certain scenes, adding: "There are producers, there are writers, there are directors, and you don’t get to come in and be like, 'I’m not going do that because this isn’t kosher right now and not right in the political climate.

"That never happens. So it’s a question that feels icky. I just wanted you to know that."
