'Euphoria' actor reveals truth on whether Zendaya and Sydney Sweeney have secret feud

A Euphoria actress has opened up about whether Zendaya and Sydney Sweeney have a secret feud.

Jessica Blair Herman, who plays the neighbor of Sweeney and Jacob Elordi’s characters in Season 3, is shutting down speculation that the HBO stars are at odds.

Cast Member Addresses Feud Rumors

Speaking on Monday’s (April 27) episode of Good Day New York, Herman revealed the atmosphere on set was nothing like the drama fans have been imagining.

"They really did," she said when asked if the cast got along. "And I’m not just saying that."

She added there was "no drama," explaining: "Really, they’ve created this beautiful working relationship and everyone wants to do the work, to come in and do the job."

The actress also pointed out that the rumors ignore a simple reality: Zendaya and Sweeney rarely even film together.

"To be fair, when I was there, they’re not sharing scenes," she told the interviewers. "Their storylines are very separate, you’re shooting on different days and stuff."

Her comments come after The Sun published a report claiming tensions had been simmering between the actresses.

"There will be a sigh of relief when Euphoria is over and they can go their separate ways," an insider told the outlet.

"But they both have decades left in Hollywood, and this rivalry will inevitably run and run," they claimed.

Fans Fueled Rumors After Red Carpet and Missing Cast Photo

Speculation ramped up after fans noticed the 28-year-old Housemaid star was absent from a cast snap for the new season, which was shared on Instagram last month.

But a source told Page Six Sweeney was simply filming a scene when the picture was taken.

Another insider also pushed back on the feud claims, insisting that both Zendaya and Sweeney are "in high demand and working continuously".

Speculation picked up even more after the Season 3 premiere in Los Angeles, where fans noticed the actresses appeared to keep some distance from one another.

The Challengers star arrived late to the TCL Chinese Theatre IMAX event, missing the main press line where Sweeney posed with castmates, including Maude Apatow, Hunter Schafer, and Alexa Demie.

Though the stars were not photographed much together, a video later showed Zendaya greeting castmates, including Sweeney and Apatow, before sharing a hug with Schafer.

Season 3 of Euphoria airs on Sundays at 9PM ET on HBO Max.
