Apple Martin, the daughter of Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin, has stunned social media users after making her Paris Fashion Week debut.
On January 24, the 18-year-old attended the Chanel haute couture spring/summer 2023 show in a black-and-white tweed skirt-and-jacket set by the designer.
The teenager paired the set piece with a black quilted Chanel crossbody bag and loafers. Her look was then shared on Twitter by fashion journalist Derek Blasberg who noted that late Chanel designer Karl Lagerfeld once announced that she'd be a "Chanel girl".
"Karl Lagerfeld met Apple Martin when she was four years old and declared that one day she’d be a Chanel girl," he wrote. "It happened today!"
Check out his tweet below:The pictures included the young star sitting in a star-studded front-row seat with Lucy Boynton and Sadie Sink, as well as behind-the-scenes shots of her during the runway show.
In one snapshot, presumably taken after the show, Apple could be seen beaming as she held up an apple pastry, while in another, she is posing for a selfie with Blasberg.
Upon seeing the photographs of her at Paris Fashion Week, many people took to their social media platforms to share their reactions to her looking very similar to her parents.
One user remarked: "She is very beautiful. A mixture of both her parents."
Another person commented: "She’s beautiful but I see more both parents, perhaps more Chris Martin."
A third user wrote: "I’d say she’s more like Chris Martin but I see a beautiful mix of Mum and Dad."
Even someone on Twitter said: "God she really is a beautiful mix of her father and mother."
The journalist's Instagram post dedicated to the young fashionista also prompted a response from Paltrow herself, who replied with an apple emoji.
Apple's fashion week debut comes after the 50-year-old actress dedicated a heartwarming 18th birthday post to her daughter last May, in which she emotionally wrote that she "could not be more proud" of the woman she was becoming
"18. I’m a bit of a loss for words this morning. I could not be more proud of the woman you are. You are everything I could have dreamed of and so much more," the Goop founder penned under a photo of the mother-and-daughter duo.
"Proud doesn’t cover it, my heart swells with feelings I can’t put into words. You are deeply extraordinary in every way," she continued. "Happy birthday my darling girl. I hope you know how special you are, and how much light you have brought to all who are lucky enough to know you."
"Especially me. I say it all the time and I will never stop… in the words of auntie Drew, I was born the day you were born. I love you," the actress concluded.
In addition to Apple, Paltrow also shares her 16-year-old son Moses with the 45-year-old Coldplay musician.
