In case you weren't aware, Weinstein shares two children with his ex-wife Georgina Chapman - who is now Brody's partner.
The 51-year-old actor won his second Best Actor Oscar for his performance as architect László Tóth in The Brutalist.
Brody’s speech drew attention for its unprecedented length. At five minutes and 40 seconds, it surpassed the previous record held by Greer Garson in 1943.
During his speech, Brody reflected on the unpredictability of an acting career and the weight of portraying historical themes.
When the orchestra attempted to cut him off, he quipped: "Please turn the music off. I've done this before; it's not my first rodeo."
He also made a heartfelt tribute to Chapman and her two children.
"I share this with my amazing partner, Georgina, who has not only reinvigorated my own self-worth but my sense of value, and her beautiful children, Dash and India."
He added: "I know this has been a roller coaster, but thank you for accepting me into your life. And Popsy's coming home a winner."

Weinstein, a convicted rapist currently serving a lengthy sentence at Rikers Island, issued a statement through his representative.
"Harvey is happy for Georgina and grateful that his kids are being loved and cared for as they deserve to be," the statement read, per the New York Post.
Chapman and Weinstein were married in 2007 and had two children before she left him in 2017 amid the wave of sexual assault allegations that ultimately led to his conviction. Their divorce was finalized in 2021.

This wasn't the only thing that Brody did that caught the eye on Sunday night...
As Brody’s name was announced, he stood to accept the award but quickly realized he was still chewing gum.
Rather than swallow it, he opted to flick it toward Chapman. She attempted to catch it but missed, leaving the gum to land on the floor.
Cameras captured the moment, and social media erupted.
Critics slammed the act as “disgusting” and “lacking decorum”.

One viewer wrote: "Adrien Brody's gross act with the chewing gum proves all that money can't buy class and style."
Another added: "Adrien Brody threw his gum at his wife before going on the stage, so I was already irritated before he started his feature-length monologue."
Brody later addressed the backlash on Live With Kelly and Mark, explaining: "I could've swallowed it, but I didn't think about that. I had to get rid of it somehow."
While some found the gesture crass, others defended Brody’s spontaneity. "I can’t believe people think Adrien Brody chucking his gf his chewing gum is gross! I’d have tried to catch it with my mouth," one supporter joked. Another called it "both iconic & disgusting."
