Keanu Reeves is doing pretty well for himself in 2019. His John Wick series went from an underrated action gem to an increasingly popular franchise, earning itself a video game adaptation and a near-perfect Rotten Tomatoes score for its third outing in John Wick chapter 3.
Outside of his appearance as the unkillable hitman in those movies, he's also landed himself a role in Toy Story 4, Tim Allen recently revealed. His dedication to his craft is pretty intense, something that was made abundantly clear when footage of him training recently went viral. But as far as the fame that goes with this success? It seems like it's been a mixed bag.

The 54-year-old has been in the movie business for a long time, with Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure shooting him into superstardom before The Matrix sealed the deal a decade later in 1999. Unfortunately for Reeves, this also means he's become the subject of many tourists hoping to spot a celeb in their visits to Los Angeles.
Speaking to The Sunday Telegraph this week, the actor spoke about the many vans, buses and cars that drive by his West Hollywood home, just to catch a glimpse of him. "I'll come out in the morning and get my newspaper (and they’re there)," he said. "You feel like an animal in a cage."
"They visit everyone's homes and sit outside. They look at you like: 'There's One!' And I get it. But walking around LA, no one cares pretty much."
In terms of working with any tension and stress from that, Reeves says that while he doesn't meditate regularly, he highly recommends it as a way of dealing with stress.
On Friday night Reeves also appeared on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert, where he spoke about the new Bill & Ted movie on the way, explaining that the movie will delve into what life has been like for the two leads now that they're a little older with a family of their own to look after. Beyond that, they'll be travelling through time to write a song to save the universe. Sounds about right.
Keanu Reeves talks with Stephen Colbert about Bill & Ted 3:While John Wick Chapter 3: Parabellum is on its way to theatres this week, the Bill & Ted sequel is set to be released on August 21, 2020, so there's still a little bit more time to wait.
In addition to this sequel, there is also another entry in The Matrix series which is going ahead, according to recent reports - and Keanu may be getting back together with the old gang too.
