Jelly Roll makes brutal social media move after split from Bunnie Xo

Jelly Roll appears to be embracing his newly single status with a quiet but telling update to his social media profile following news of his split from his wife Bunnie Xo.

The country star, whose real name is Jason Bradley DeFord, removed all references to his estranged wife from his Instagram bio on Tuesday night. Fans quickly noticed the change after reports surfaced this week that the singer had filed for divorce after nearly a decade of marriage.

While neither Jelly Roll nor Bunnie Xo has publicly addressed the breakup, the bio edit has fueled speculation about where the former couple stands as their divorce proceedings move forward.

Instagram bio sparks reaction

Before the update, Jelly Roll's Instagram bio included a tag to Bunnie Xo's account along with a lock and key emoji, a nod to their relationship.

The profile now simply reads: "Music Man."

Despite removing the reference, the Grammy winner has not deleted photos featuring Bunnie Xo from his Instagram page. Observant followers have also noted that he has recently been posting without his wedding band.

News of the split broke on June 16 after reports revealed that Jelly Roll filed for divorce in Tennessee on May 18.

Divorce filing reveals separation date

According to court documents, the singer listed May 9 as the couple's date of separation.

In the filing, Jelly Roll cited "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for the divorce.

The pair married in August 2016 and do not share children together. However, Bunnie Xo, whose real name is Alisa DeFord, has been a stepmother to Jelly Roll's two children from previous relationships, daughter Bailee Ann, 18, and son Noah Buddy, 9.

Reports surrounding the breakup have also pointed to growing differences between the couple. Per The Daily Mail, the "conflict" between the pair had become "the talk of the town in Nashville."

One source alleged, "He’s preaching this Christian way of life … [and] at every turn she’s just kind of embarrassing him and wrecking every PR narrative that they’re trying to create."

The insider added that Bunnie Xo "just wants to be what she is."

Family reacts as reports emerge

People reported that the couple's relationship had "changed a lot" during Jelly Roll's recent health transformation.

The outlet claimed the 'Son of a Sinner' singer, who has reportedly lost more than 200 pounds in recent years, is "very focused on his future, his health and being around for a long time."

According to the report, the former couple are "no longer on the same page about certain things, including what they want their future to look like."

Jelly Roll's daughter, Bailee Ann, addressed the intense public interest in the divorce on TikTok on Tuesday.

Speaking directly to followers, she said, "I am disgusted at how invested everyone is in a very clearly private family matter. It’s f**king crazy. … Worry b[a]out your house not mine. I’m not speaking on it yet."

As of now, neither Jelly Roll nor Bunnie Xo has issued a public statement about the split.
