Earlier this week, actor John Boyega slammed Disney for "sidelining" his character in the latest Star Wars trilogy.
The 28-year-old British-Nigerian actor also said that Disney "knew what to do with Daisy Ridley" and "knew what to do with Adam Driver", but knew "f*** all" when it came to handling his or Kelly Marie Tran's respective characters.
In the revealing interview with GQ magazine, Boyega - who played former Stormtrooper Finn in the sci-fi movies - also provided the following message to Disney:
"Do not bring out a black character, market them to be much more important in the franchise than they are, and then have them pushed to the side. It’s not good. I’ll say it straight up."
Sadly, white actor and comedian Michael Rapaport did not appreciate Boyega's comments, and took to Twitter to share the following message:
"@JohnBoyega Yo my man you have done so much in such a short period of time. Congrats.. but you ain't the first actor to have an un nuanced character in a Star Wars movie #beniciodeltoro Welcome to show business. S**t doesn’t always go ur way."
Benicio del Toro is the Puerto Rican actor who starred alongside Boyega in Star Wars: Episode VIII – The Last Jedi playing codebreaker DJ.
However, Boyega was quick to shoot down Rapaport and his comments.
Replying to Rapaport's tweet, Boyega wrote: "Did you read the article? Thanks for the additional name to my list though."

Things don’t always work out the way YOU plan. Happens to ALL of Us.
"Again be grateful for all u done so far which is a lot more than TONS of great actors of all races who also had roles cut down & will continue to.
Rapaport added: "U could always not do the next Star Wars film because you have CHOICES. Unlike 99.9% of most actors of all races."
Buy Boyega was clearly unimpressed with Rapaport's intervention, and he simply replied: "no. Thanks though."

"They gave all the nuance to Adam Driver, all the nuance to Daisy Ridley. Let’s be honest. Daisy knows this. Adam knows this. Everybody knows. I’m not exposing anything."
