Kaley Cuoco shares brutally honest response to seeing herself with Botox for the first time
Kaley Cuoco has shared a brutally honest admission about how she felt she looked after getting Botox for the first time.
The actress, best known for her roles in The Big Bang Theory and The Flight Attendant admitted that the results of her first time getting injectables to the face were not what she was expecting.
The actress and mom, 40, opened up about her history of cosmetic work on an episode of the Not Skinny but Not Fat podcast with Amandra Hirsch, released on February 10.
She began getting cosmetic tweaks while filming the popular sitcom The Big Bang Theory, and started with Botox in her forehead.
However it did not turn out as she hoped.
The actress was unable to move her forehead
“I was like literally doing these jokes and nothing moved. My forehead didn’t move and it looked like I was trying to move it,” she admitted.
Kaley added: "There is a scene where I have to do this thing with my face, I could not move [it],” she recalled.
“The fact that no one said anything — they probably were thinking it — I couldn’t believe how bad it looked.”
After watching footage back she decided to “calm it down and rein it in” before she did too much damage to her face and acting career.
She did confess that she still “loves a bit of Botox” and routinely gets the toxin injected around her eyes and into her neck.
Kaley also discussed her past cosmetic surgeries.
She is no stranger to cosmetic surgery
She admitted to having her breasts fixed twice and announced plans for a third procedure because getting the enhancement was the “best decision” she’s ever made.
The actress spoke about undergoing surgery to enhance her looks to Redbook magazine in 2014.
She said: "I always felt ill-proportioned. My implants made me feel more confident in my body.
“It wasn’t about trying to be a porn star or wanting to look hot and sexy.”
But breast augmentations are not the only surgical treatment the star has received.
In 2016, mom-of-one Kaley defended her decision to get a nose job in a Women’s Health article, citing self confidence and a desire to look good.
“As much as you want to love your inner self … I’m sorry, you also want to look good.
“I don’t think you should do it for a man or anyone else, but if it makes you feel confident, that’s amazing.”
