Bianca Censori, an Australian model, artist, and architect who happens to be rapper Kanye West’s wife, has made headlines yet again this week, but this time it is not about what she is or isn't wearing.
For the first time, Censori has commented on her public perception and controversial outfit choices. In an essay posted on the Welcome.jpeg Substack last week, the model reflected on her identity and the way the media has portrayed her.
Addressing her numerous nearly nude looks, she wrote: "Nudity on a red carpet is abnormal. But so is anything other than nudity in a bathtub. For the record, I like both."

The star also revealed that she has, on more than one occasion, been approached by major magazines and TV production companies pleading with her to do an interview or even a documentary.
Censori claimed: "I’ve been asked to do many major covers as long as 'something in my life had changed' (I think you can infer what that means). Interviews. Even a documentary with a major network. They asked to facilitate couples therapy on camera. "
Unlike other A-listers, Censori is very open about disliking the media circuit, openly admitting in the essay: “I don’t like interviews.”
The artist also revealed that, to help her promote her new show, she has hired a PR specialist to help her navigate the media, and perhaps help positively shape their perception of her.

The media’s fascination with Censori began in 2022, when she married rapper Kanye West and began turning up to red carpet events in jaw-dropping (or, rather, drawer-dropping), outfits.
At the 2025 Grammys, Censori sported the most shocking award show dress ever.
She stunned red carpet guests when she dropped the long black fur coat she arrived in to reveal a dress that was entirely see-through, with the only visible evidence of fabric on her body being the delicate hem, making her look entirely naked from a not-so-long distance.
In February, the model addressed her signature scandalous style, which has become increasingly X-rated since marrying West in 2022, in an interview with Vanity Fair.
Shutting down digs that her husband controls what she wears, Censori said: “I wouldn't be doing something I didn't want to do.
“Me and my husband would work on my outfits together. So it was like a collaboration, it was never ‘I was being told to do something."'
