It's been a funny few months for Kendall Jenner. As one of the quieter members of the Kardashian-Jenner axis, she tends to keep her profile relatively low (when compared to her sisters). But, despite this, she's been in the headlines for a host of different reasons.

It all started in April last year when Kendall, who must've been badly advised, starred in what was quite honestly the worst bit of advertising I have ever seen in my life. I'm sure that the majority of you are aware of what I'm talking about, but for those of you who aren't, it's worth looking up the widely criticised Pepsi advert that was pulled last year.

Of course, the advert - and Kendall - received a whole lot of scorn online, with people being baffled by the concept that a can of Pepsi can cure what looked like a potentially hostile situation between police and protestors. Even more bizarre was the timing of the advert, with it being released during a period of political, racial and social unrest in the US.

However, since then, the stories surrounding Jenner have had nothing to do with what she's done, but are more about what she looks like. After posting the below photo online, plenty of fans were speculating that she was pregnant.

And then, during an appearance on the red carpet at The Golden Globes, she was given abuse for appearing to have a spot of acne, with the model later revealing that it made her feel like an "outcast" when she was younger.

Speaking in an interview with Haper's Bazaar, Kendall spoke about her life and the pressures she faces as a young woman in the public eye:

"Sometimes I feel like a complete kid when I’m running around with my friends being stupid for a week, and then sometimes I just want to sit in my house and sip tea and watch old movies like I’m 60.

"I feel like the life I live is extraordinary in a lot of ways but it also comes with a lot of responsibilities. I’ve had to grow up pretty fast and deal with situations most 22-year-olds aren’t really put into.

"There are days and weeks and months when you just don’t stop."

It seems like the pressures of her fame have caught up to Kendall, with the star being rushed to hospital on Sunday night before she appeared on the red carpet. According to a source close to the star, Kendall had "been feeling very run down and tired lately. She was taking a vitamin drip to help with her energy and overall health."

However, while the treatment is a fairly simple procedure, Kendall "had a bad reaction and knew right away something was wrong and that she needed to go to Cedars. They treated her and she was released quickly."

The Keeping Up With The Kardashian's star was later seen posing up a storm at the Vanity Fair afterparty, where it's been reported that she refused to talk or pose for photos with her father, Caitlyn Jenner.

While Jenner's trip to the hospital may have been just a scare, it's worth noting that these women are under a lot of pressure at a very young age. Next time you feel like "slut-shaming" or calling out Kendall Jenner for whatever reason, think about the impact your words would have on the average 22-year-old.
