Khloé Kardashian's is moving on from Tristan Thompson.

The couple had always been a bit rocky owing mostly to Thompson's infidelity. Who could forget how, back in May of 2018, a video surfaced on social media of Thomspon getting cosy with a woman at a nightclub?

They managed to stay together for a little while after that blow-up before Thompson allegedly screwed up again, by cheating on the mother of his daughter with Kylie Jenner's best friend, Jordyn Woods.

As a result of their apparent indiscretion, Woods has been totally disowned by the Kardashian family. Woods claims that she didn't actually sleep with Thompson at all. She instead says that he merely kissed her, and adding that the drama around their supposed dalliance has been exaggerated.

But how has Khloé been coping with things? She's still been pretty prolific on social media and hasn't retreated from the limelight. However, this week she used her Instagram account to throw some pretty subtle shade Thompson's way, and fans of hers are really enjoying her saltiness. One of her stories over the weekend was a picture of an extract from a book of poetry. The verse was by Tene Edwards and entitled: 'Partnership'.

It reads: "I crave a love that adds value to my life. I don't want a relationship, I want a partnership. Someone to aid me up the mountain of life, and guide me through the valleys of adversity. Someone who is able to breathe in sync, and dance by my side through thick and thin. I want that grind-together type of love, with a best friend I can build an empire beside."

Wow! Seems to be sending a clear message there...

She made this message all the more explicit by later sharing an image of a quote by the author M. Sosa, which states: "Forgive yourself for falling in love with his potential, and for believing he would change someday."

Interestingly, Khloé has actually stepped in to defend Tristan from criticism. Although Khloé admits that their breakup was his fault and not Jordyn Woods', she did take a stand after a number of media outlets falsely reported that Thompson hadn't made any effort to spend time with their baby girl True.

Khloé took to Twitter to set the story straight, writing to her millions of followers that: "[Tristan's] a good dad to [True]. My sweet and special baby True will NEVER be put in the middle of him and I. I can promise that. [sic]"
