Khloé Kardashian's relationship with Tristan Thompson is well and truly over.
There had been prior warning signs that the couple was struggling of course. Back in May of 2018, when footage surfaced of the former basketball player getting cosy with a woman at The Penthouse at The Dream Downtown, things looked pretty rocky, but they somehow managed to patch things up again.
Now the couple has reportedly broken up for real, after Thompson apparently cheated on the mother of his daughter with Kylie Jenner's best friend, Jordyn Woods.
As a result of the indiscretion, Woods has instantly become a persona non grata among the Kardashians and has been disowned by Kylie as a result. However, there's been yet more controversy, with Jordyn Woods claiming that she didn't actually sleep with Thompson at all. Instead, she claims that he kissed her, and that the drama around their supposed dalliance has been exaggerated.
Khloé herself seemed to be pretty incredulous about this. Taking to Twitter after viewing her interview on Red Table Talk with Jada Pinkett Smith, she wrote:
"Why are you lying @jordynwoods?? If you’re going to try and save yourself by going public, INSTEAD OF CALLING ME PRIVATELY TO APOLOGIZE FIRST, at least be HONEST about your story.
"BTW, You ARE the reason my family broke up! ... Tristan is equally to blame but Tristan is the father of my child. Regardless of what he does to me, I won’t do that to my daughter. He has been addressing this situation PRIVATELY. If Tristan were to lie publicly about what conspired, then yes I would address him publicly as well. [sic]"
She added:
"This has been an awful week & I know everyone is sick of hearing about it all (as am I). I’m a rollercoaster of emotions & have said things I shouldn’t have. Honestly, Tristan cheating on me & humiliating me, wasn’t such a shock as the first time ... What’s been harder & more painful is being hurt by someone so close to me. Someone whom I love & treat like a little sister. But Jordyn is not to be blamed for the breakup of my family. This was Tristan’s fault ... I have to move on with my life & count my blessings, my family, my health, & my beautiful baby True. [sic]"
There have also been reports from certain media outlets that Tristan Thompson has more or less abandoned baby True. Khloé has denied this however, and set the record straight, writing on Twitter: "He's a good dad to her. My sweet and special baby True will NEVER be put in the middle of him and I. I can promise that. [sic]"
Man, it seems there's more to this story than we thought after all. Frankly, I don't know who to believe.
