Kim Kardashian plays voicemail of Snoop Dogg making very controversial request before attending Kris Jenner's 70th birthday party

Kim Kardashian has shared a voicemail of Snoop Dogg making a very controversial request before attending Kris Jenner's 70th birthday party.

The Kardashian matriarch's lavish James Bond–themed event was the kind of Hollywood party that demanded headlines, from a live performance by Bruno Mars to multiple visits from the police.

But it was an unexpected voicemail from Snoop Dogg that added an extra layer of surprise to the night’s glitz and drama.

In a moment shared online, Jenner's daughter, Kim Kardashian, listened to a voice message from the 54-year-old ahead of the star-studded celebration.

“I got your mama a gift,” the rapper, famously known for his cannabis habits, said in the clip, before asking if it was alright for him to smoke during the festivities. “I don’t want to be disrespectful,” he added.

The SKIMS mogul, laughing, responded: “What a sweet person to ask. Of course, he can smoke.” When asked by a cameraman if she smokes herself, Kardashian replied, “No, I never smoke.”

Fans quickly flooded social media with reactions. One wrote: “Man can’t even take a few hours break?” while another quipped: “Snoop asking before smoking? Bro, that’s character development nobody saw coming.”

The moment reignited chatter around the star's long-standing relationship with cannabis.

While he shocked fans in late 2023 by announcing he was “giving up smoke,” the declaration turned out to be a marketing stunt for a smokeless fire pit brand.

Police called to Jenner’s birthday- twice

Despite 'Drop It Like It's Hot' rapper's polite inquiry, the party itself wasn’t exactly a quiet evening.

Held at Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez’s $165 million Beverly Hills estate, the gathering drew so much attention and noise that police were called to the scene multiple times.

TMZ reported that local residents complained about the music levels, which escalated during Bruno Mars’ live set. The music was reportedly “off the charts,” prompting authorities to issue a warning after 10PM, when California’s residential noise curfew kicks in.

Later in the evening, police returned after discovering that oversized decorative hedges were blocking off part of the street outside the venue, without a permit.

Officials ordered the greenery removed just as dozens of celebrities were departing the event.

Despite the interruptions, the event, which was orchestrated by event planner Mindy Weiss, was pure A-list fantasy.

Alongside the D-O-double G, the party welcomed an elite guest list including Oprah Winfrey, Adele, Meghan Markle, Prince Harry, Paris Hilton, Bill Gates, Mark Zuckerberg, and Mariah Carey.

Amid the celebrity chaos, Jenner’s children made sure to spotlight the emotional side of the celebration. Kim posted a glowing tribute: “HAPPY 70TH BIRTHDAY TO THE MOST BEAUTIFUL WOMAN ON THE PLANET! There is no one more special in this whole world than you! You truly are superwoman.”

Khloé Kardashian also shared heartfelt words, calling her mom the “heartbeat of our family” and crediting her with making “magic out of motherhood.”
