Kim Kardashian has revealed that she was a willing accomplice in a savage prank from her children to convince their father Kanye West that she was dead.

Kim Kardashian, 38, was speaking to Elle Magazine, in the process opening a window into her personal and private life. Kim revealed that the Kardashian-West household is one full of practical jokes - and that five-year-old North West is often the architect of these pranks, even getting her little brother Saint in on the act.

Now that Saint is a little bit older, Kim revealed how the siblings are "starting to get closer now that [North] can include him in her jokes." Case in point: this April Fool's Day, when North and Saint West unhatched a plot to convince their dad Kanye West that Kim Kardashian had been murdered.

"She roped him into an April Fools’ prank yesterday that was ridiculous. She took ketchup into my bathroom, and she begged me to let her spread it on me, and on the bathroom, as if it was like a bad scary movie. Then she asked me to lie down."

"I thought she was just playing," Kardashian continued, as she revealed that North West is in the process of becoming a massive practical joker, explaining the lengths North went to for the sake of the joke: "Maybe that she was going to say I was hurt. No. She taught Saint how to fake cry — she showed him how to do it! — and then she told him to scream, 'Mommy’s dead!'"

But how did the subject of the prank react to such an April Fool's prank? According to Kim, Kanye saw right through the little Kardashian's ruse, and was not the least bit impressed. "Kanye ran upstairs and he was like, 'Kids, this is not funny. This is not a good prank.' I completely understand and I agree," said Kardashian.

But that being said, the mom of three (with a fourth on the way) was glad her two elder children were beginning to get on a bit more. "It did make me a little impressed that they planned something together, and they were getting along and having fun as a team," Kardashian admitted.

North West, however, might be a bit happier that Kim Kardashian's got another boy on the way - just so Saint will leave her alone for a bit. "North acts like an only child at all times. I think she’s a little confused," Kim said of her eldest daughter on Ashley Graham's podcast Pretty Big Deal last October.

"She’s beyond jealousy now. She’s just like, 'It’s my world.' She said to me the other day, 'Mom … we just need to have another baby brother so that Saint can just leave me alone … so the girls can be on this side of the house and the boys can be on that side of the house.'"

Times have changed significantly since that interview - North West and Saint West are getting on like a house on fire, and everyone seems to be happier for it!

Well, everyone except for Kanye.
