Kim Kardashian reveals the name of her fourth child with Kanye West
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West welcomed their fourth child into the world last Thursday. The baby was born via surrogate and joined three older siblings: five-year-old sister North West, three-year-old brother Saint West and one-year-old sister Chicago West.
Fans of the power couple wondered what kind of name they would select for their fourth child. Another direction like North? Another city like Chicago? Or another religious name like Saint? On Friday afternoon, Kim revealed the answer on social media: The baby boy's name is Psalm West! ("Should have been Wild smh," one Twitter user joked.)
"Psalm West," Kim wrote on social media, alongside an image of the sleeping infant. An attached note read: "Beautiful Mother's Day with the arrival of our fourth child. We are blessed beyond measure. We have everything we need."
The reality TV star announced she was going to have a fourth child in January. "Kim and Kanye have known for awhile and are very excited," a source explained to E! News. "They had one male embryo left and are thrilled it has worked out. Kim always wanted four kids and having two boys and two girls feels perfect. They were very happy with the entire experience the first time and are so grateful to have one more baby."
The family of four doesn't plan on any future additions, according to an interview with Elle in 2018. "I don't think I could handle more than [four children]," Kim said. "My time is spread really thin. And I think it's important that in all couples, the mom gives the husband as much attention as the kids."
