Kylie Jenner is back in full-swing on Instagram, posting regular updates of swishy new cars, new products from her make-up range and selfies with the rest of the Kardashian-Jenner clan. The 20-year-old had a brief hiatus from the social media platform while pregnant with her newborn Stormi Webster, keeping her 106 million fans wondering what she was up to.
But since Stormi's birth on February 1, it seems she's resumed regular programming, but this time, with a little more Stormi in the mix. However, it's only now that the make-up mogul has shared a proper close-up selfie of her and her baby, making it quite a momentous occasion indeed.
She took to Instagram to post three pictures of her and six-week-old Stormi snuggling together in bed. The black and white pics clearly show Stormi's face for the first time posing with her mum wearing a "baby girl" necklace right next to her. It's clear they share the same dark eyes and pouty lips (though Stormi hasn't had the help of any Lip Kits like Kylie).
While we've seen a couple of pictures of them together, none are as intimate or revealing as these ones, and they're just really adorable. Behold:
Racking up over 11.8 million likes in just 16 hours (at time of writing), the picture has already shot up to claim the spot of the third most-liked picture on Instagram ever. Ever. Stormi Webster's name announcement from February 6 still hold's the number one spot with 17.8 million likes, and Kylie's first full-sized picture holding the baby is at number two with 12.9 million. She really is the queen of Instagram.
Kylie’s sister Kim Kardashian commented a series of heart-eye emojis along with an excitable "OMGGGG", while Khloe wrote, "I miss you guys". She's due to give birth in April, so could it be that she's away on bed-rest ready to give birth already?
Khloe and Kylie both kept their pregnancies secret, though Khloe eventually came clean a few months in. Kylie somehow managed to keep the entire thing under wraps, with only a few cryptic images and whispers from various "sources" fuelling the speculation that she was pregnant for the good half of last year. When finally revealing that she was pregnant all along, and had already given birth in an Instagram post in early February, she apologised for keeping things hush-hush to her fans:
"I’m sorry for keeping you in the dark through all the assumptions. I understand you’re used to me bringing you along on all my journeys. My pregnancy was one I chose not to do in front of the world. I knew for myself I needed to prepare for this role of a lifetime in the most positive, stress free, and healthy way I knew how. There was no gotcha moment, no big paid reveal I had planned. I knew my baby would feel every stress and every emotion so I chose to do it this way for my little life and our happiness.
Lucky for us, she's being a little more frugal with sharing updates of her little one now that she's getting a bit older.
