When the world is at peace, it's amazing how quickly time flies by. Consider - for example - how horrid, arduous and decrepit the months between September and February were. The world was lost. Time stood still. Kylie Jenner had disappeared.

While there were multiple rumours regarding where the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star had gone, nothing was ever confirmed by her or those around her. There were multiple sources telling us that Jenner was pregnant and that she was set to disappear off of the world of social media for potentially years.

Of course, we all know what happened next. On 4 February 2018, Kylie Jenner had her return to social media, releasing a statement which confirmed what had been going on and issuing an apology to her fanbase for her absence.

"I'm sorry for keeping you in the dark through all the assumptions. I understand you're used to me bringing you along on all my journeys. my pregnancy was one I chose not to do in front of the world," she said.

"I knew for myself i needed to prepare for this role of a lifetime in the most positive, stress-free, and healthy way i knew how. there was no gotcha moment, no big paid reveal i had planned. I knew my baby would feel every stress and every emotion so I chose to do it this way for my little life and our happiness.

"pregnancy has been the most beautiful, empowering, and life changing experience I've had in my entire life and I'm actually going to miss it. I appreciate my friends and especially my family for helping me make this special moment as private as we could. my beautiful and healthy baby girl arrived February 1st and i just couldn't wait to share this blessing. I've never felt love and happiness like this i could burst! Thank you for understanding."

Kylie also released an adorable 11-minute video to accompany the announcement in which she showed exactly what happened behind the scenes during her pregnancy.

Understandably - given that the queen of social media was back - fans of social media rejoiced. Shortly after her return, Kylie announced that she had called her daughter Stormi Webster and began her return to the world of social media, which has also seen her have a huge impact on the stock price on Snapchat.

But, astonishingly, that was a month ago. They say that time flies when you're having fun and since the announcement that all was well in the world of Kylie Jenner, it would be safe to say that life has been a lot rosier.

In order to mark her daughter's first month on the planet that she which she will eventually come to rule, Kylie uploaded not one but TWO photos onto her Instagram account of her and her newborn, captioning them: "my angel baby is 1 month old today."

It's the first full glimpse of Stormi that fans have been given, with a lot of them going into meltdown about the cute photos. Also, although it was only uploaded a matter of hours ago, the photo has racked up close to 10 million likes and is likely to go on and be the most liked photo on Instagram - a title which is currently held by... Kylie Jenner.

Whatever you think of Kylie Jenner, she certainly knows how to cause a stir online and has a fanbase in the hundreds of millions. Who knows, given the inexperienced, but popular background of the star - are we likely to see an unlikely presidential bid in the future? It didn't stop Trump.
