Lady Gaga fans are convinced that the singer is a secret Olympian after her athletic doppelganger went viral.

In the women's taekwondo event at the Tokyo Olympics, people realized that Julyana AlSadeq, the taekwondo competitor from Jordan, looks identical to the 'Pokerface' singer, per Yahoo News.

A photograph of AlSadeq was subsequently posted to Twitter with the caption: "Why is Lady Gaga at the Olympics," sparking a widespread conversation.

The resemblance did not go unnoticed as the original tweet has received 24.5K likes and thousands of comments, at the time of writing.

Reacting to the uncanny resemblance, one Twitter user wrote: "Her Grammys and Oscar are not enough so why not aim for an Olympic gold medal??? AN ATHLETIC ITALIAN QUEEN [sic]."

A second added: "She's there for the applause," referencing her hit single 'Applause' from the Artpop album.

While a third wrote: "Promoting her next album. This is what you call revolutionary and reinventing."

Another remarked: "Lmfao yooo I all I hear is 'And a game… and a game… and a game….. A LoveGame [sic]'."

A fifth joked: "She's coming for that MEGOT (Medal, Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, Tony)."

Meanwhile, another added: "She is literally gonna top every person who earned the E.G.O.T. title with an Olympic medal flex. Her power."

Here's a little about Julyana AlSadeq, who is 26.

The athlete ranked No. 11 in the women's under 67 kilograms division, and she also made the quarterfinal of the World Championships in 2019, according to Yahoo News.

You can see more of her uncanny resemblance to Lady Gaga on her Instagram page.

According to her Olympics biography, she became the first Jordanian female athlete to bring home gold in taekwondo at the 2018 Asian Games.

Independent reports that AlSadeq's resemblance to the singer prompted such a reaction that it caused the hashtag Lady Gaga to briefly trend on the website.

Sadly, however, we won't be seeing more of AlSadeq at this year's Olympics as she lost to a competitor from Brazil in Round 16.
