It seems like Lady Gaga just can't stay out of the news at the moment, can she! For the last few months, she's been in the news for one reason or another. She got engaged to Christian Carino back in October, and then it was the turn of A Star Is Born to bring the singer plenty of street cred.
From, there, Oscar buzz and a breakup with her fiancé meant that rumours of a relationship with A Star Is Born co-star Bradley Cooper refused to go away, fuelled by this steamy performance at the 91st Academy Awards:
Finally, Gaga was forced to appear on Jimmy Kimmel Live! to clarify the persistent rumours;
"This is a love song, Shallow. The movie, A Star Is Born, is a love story. We worked so hard, we worked all week on that performance... From a performance perspective, it was so important to both of us that we were connected the entire time. When you’re singing love songs, that’s what you want people to feel."
Okay, so we know Gaga's not hooking up with Bradley Cooper, we know that she's now the proud winner of an Oscar, after Shallow achieved glory at the Academy Awards. We can all breathe a sigh of relief, and turn our attentions to - wait, is Lady Gaga pregnant?
That, at least is the opinion of the internet, which has gone wild with the notion that Lady Gaga - Stefani Germanotta if we use her given name - was with child, and that we didn't know who the father was either.
"Omg i found a bulgarian article saying that Lady Gaga is pregnant in the second month from Bradley Cooper and that's the reason she and Christian Carino broke up skskssksks [sic]" said user @tinafurler.
I don't really know where these rumours came from, but Lady Gaga responded to swirling pregnancy rumours by confirming she was pregnant, but not in the way we were thinking she was pregnant.
Confused? Then check out this tweet:
LG6 is not, in fact, an alternative name for her new baby; rather, it's an announcement that a new Lady Gaga album is on its way! Any disappointment that Gaga isn't with child was quickly blown away by the prospect of more music. Just check out these Twitter reactions, some more dramatic than others.
Lady Gaga's now-upcoming album will be her first since Joanne, which was released back in October 2016 to positive reviews, but fresh off her Oscar win, Gaga will be hoping to hit number one on the charts for the first time since 2011 and Born This Way.
There's not really much known about LG6 just yet, but there's a decent chance that Lady Gaga will be collaborating with Rihanna for one of the songs: Gaga followed her and record producer BloodPop on social media.
Well there you have it folks: there's a new Lady Gaga album on the way.
