Lip reader reveals what Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce said to each other at awards debut
A lip reader has shared what Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce said to each other at an award ceremony.
The loved-up couple, both 36, made a surprise appearance at the 2026 iHeartRadio Music Awards in Los Angeles on Thursday (March 26).
While Swift dominated the night with her awards, a lip reader has now claimed to reveal what the pair were saying to each other during a mysterious mid-show exchange.

During an ad break, the couple were sat next to singer Sombr, who picked up the Best Alternative Album award, when they were spotted deep in conversation.
According to Nicola Hickling, who spoke to The Mirror US, the 'The Fate of Ophelia' songstress allegedly said: "I can show you, it's unreal, everything is black and white."
The Kansas City Chiefs star reportedly replied: "It's unreal," before Swift continued: "Try it, you, I know you will really like it, of course. We can we will..."
The exact meaning behind the conversation remains unclear.
Big Wins and a Heartfelt Shoutout
The night proved to be a massive success for Swift, who walked away with seven major awards, including artist of the year, album of the year, pop album of the year, song of the year, pop song of the year, best lyrics, best music video, and favorite tour style.
During one acceptance speech, Swift gave a heartfelt nod to Kelce, even sharing a kiss with him after being announced as a winner.
"This album probably also feels very happy and confident and free because that's the way that I get to feel every single day of my life because of my fiancé, who's here tonight," she said.
She also reflected on her journey as an artist, adding: "To be receiving Artist of the Year, which is - I love being an artist. I love writing songs more than anything in the world. And I didn’t think I was an artist when I first started doing it. It was a hobby.
"It was a hobby, and then it was my favourite hobby. And then it was what I would, like, rush home from school to do. It was like, ‘I can’t wait to get back to my guitar in my room and write a song,'" she said.
Elsewhere in the night, the Grammy-winning star told the audience: "I am a firm believer that anything you feed your mind, it will internalise."
Swift and Kelce announced their engagement on August 26 via Instagram by sharing pictures of the NFL star on bended knee below the 'Karma' singer, who is donning a striped dress under an elaborate floral arch.
The second photo was a close-up of Swift's stunning engagement ring, which Kelce co-designed with Kindred Lubeck of Artifex Fine Jewelry.
In early March, ESPN suggested the couple’s wedding could be just months away. After Kelce confirmed he would return for his fourteenth season with the Chiefs, reporter Nate Taylor said the pair will likely tie the knot "before training camp".
