Megan Fox has revealed that she wore her see-through VMAs dress because her boyfriend Machine Gun Kelly told her to.

The actress, 35, wore the sheer illusion Mugler gown, designed by Casey Cadwallader, to the September 12 event in New York City with just a bedazzled g-string underneath. It has since been dubbed her "naked" dress in the media, as per Cosmopolitan.

The dress was widely praised on social media and by a number of media outlets, such as Buzzfeed, but it turns out that idea behind the naked dress was not Megan herself, but her boyfriend, 31-year-old rapper Machine Gun Kelly.

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Fox said the eye-popping dress was Kelly's idea.

"He was like, 'You're gonna be naked tonight,'" Fox said as she gestured to him. "I was like, 'Whatever you say, daddy!'"

The Transformers actress then revealed that she wants to be in more of Kelly's music videos after starring alongside him in the 'Bloody Valentine' video.

"He's not allowed to have other h**s in his music videos. It's the queen no one," Fox said.

While Fox has made it clear that she wants all eyes to be on her in Kelly's music videos, he too doesn't shy away from the limelight and got tongues wagging earlier this year when he painted his own tongue black for the Billboard Music Awards.

Following the show back in May, MGK told GQ: "You know what the dream was? It was exactly what happened to me [this weekend], which was to go to an awards show, shut down the carpet, go onstage, accept an award.

"I saw a British GQ article that came out this morning that basically was like, 'Despite the fact that BTS was there, The Weeknd was there, Drake was there, the talk of the show was [us].'"

However, while Kelly has turned heads because of appearances, he also attracted attention after getting into an altercation with Conor McGregor on the VMAs red carpet.

The incident reportedly happened when McGregor tried to shake the rapper's hand, and it grew so heated that security was forced to intervene.
