Viewers have been left stunned after resurfaced footage showed Mila Kunis' reaction after Justin Timberlake unexpectedly grabbed her breasts during an onstage appearance.
The pair famously starred together in the 2011 rom-com Friends With Benefits.
The film follows Dylan Harper (Timberlake) and Jamie Rellis (Kunis), two friends who convince themselves that sleeping together will not complicate their relationship, only to slowly fall for each other anyway.
Just weeks before the film hit theaters, Kunis and Timberlake appeared together at the MTV Movie Awards to present the night’s first award, which ultimately went to Robert Pattinson for Best Male Performance.
Before revealing the winner, the co-stars jokingly addressed rumors they were romantically involved off-screen.
"Even though we’re in the movie Friends With Benefits, Mila and I have never dated," the 'Sexy Back' singer told the crowd. "Nope, nope. We are like brother and sister," the That '70s Show actress replied.
"Totally platonic relationship, which is why I can do this," Timberlake added, before suddenly grabbing Kunis’ breasts onstage.
Kunis immediately fired back by grabbing Timberlake’s crotch, shocking the audience.
The resurfaced clip has sparked strong reactions online, with some viewers shocked by the exchange while others found it hilarious.
"WTF??!! what great role models they are!" one user wrote.
Another commented: "There's a difference between lacking dignity, and having a sense of humor."
Others defended the moment as harmless comedy.
"LOL!!!!!!!!!! how can you not laugh at this," one viewer wrote, while another added: "Thats brilliant! - how did they get away with this?"
Released on July 22, 2011, Friends With Benefits opened in 2,926 theaters across North America.
The film earned $6.8 million on its opening day before pulling in $18.6 million during its first weekend, finishing third at the box office behind Captain America: The First Avenger and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2.
It eventually grossed $55.8 million across the United States and Canada.
The movie currently holds a 69% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, with critics widely praising the chemistry between Kunis and Timberlake.
Time Out magazine said "the chemistry between Kunis and her co-star Justin Timberlake is electric," while another praised: "Kunis and Timberlake are as great on screen as individuals and as a team, and there are some funny and entertaining moments."
"Justin Timberlake and Mila Kunis make for engaging leads in this unexpectedly fresh R-rated comedy," Hollywood Reporter added.
