Millie Bobby Brown appears to have a new name and fans are showering the star with praise.

The Stranger Things actress married Jake Bongiovi in a secret ceremony in May after getting engaged a year previously.

A source close to the pair revealed to the Sun: "Millie and Jake quietly said their vows in America last weekend."

The source added that while a larger celebration is planned for later this year, the couple has already "legally married and done all the paperwork."

The ceremony was described as a "very low-key, romantic affair" attended by their closest family members.

Despite their young age, the couple has faced criticism from some social media users who argue that they are too young to marry.

However, Jake's father, Jon Bon Jovi, has come to their defense.

In a radio interview with Andy Cohen, the iconic musician said: "I don't know if age matters; if you find the right partner and you grow together, I think that would be my advice, really, is growing together is wise."

Millie frequently shares photos of her and Jake on social media, often accompanied by affectionate captions like "my forever wedding date" and "my forever prince."

But in her latest Instagram post, one image stood out: a shot showing her name on the Stranger Things set.

Fans quickly took to the comments to express their excitement over the new name.

"Millie Bobby Brown Bongiovi sounds so powerful," one person said, with a second adding: "Bobby Brown Bongiovi is the new tongue twister."

Others chimed in as they heaped their praise onto the star, with some simply dubbing her name as: "Iconic."

Prior to the wedding, Millie addressed the possibility of her famous father-in-law performing at the wedding.

Speaking to Today, she said: "I feel like that's asking me to go and like, do a full-on play for everyone. I think the man needs a break. He doesn't stop."

She added: "He's always doing tennis or singing lessons. I think he needs a break, maybe it's a three-hour break."

In March, actor Matthew Modine, who stars alongside Brown in Stranger Things, disclosed on Access Daily that he had been chosen to officiate the couple's wedding.

Modine, 65, is known for his role as Dr. Martin Brenner, the enigmatic scientist with a complicated relationship with Brown’s character, Eleven.
