Millie Bobby Brown has reportedly tied the knot with Jake Bongiovi in a secret wedding ceremony, according to reports.

The 20-year-old Stranger Things actress has been in a relationship with the 22-year-old model son of legendary rocker Jon Bon Jovi for four years now, and announced their engagement last April.

Now, The Sun has reported that the young couple have secretly exchanged vows, with a source telling the publication: "Millie and Jake quietly said their vows in America last weekend."

The source added: "They are planning a bigger ceremony in the US later this year but now they have legally married and done all the paperwork.

It was a very low-key, romantic affair with their closest family with them as they said their vows."

Back in March, actor Matthew Modine - who stars alongside Brown in Netflix's hit sci-fi series - revealed to Access Daily that he will be the one to officiate the couple's nuptials.

Fans of the show will recognize Modine as Dr. Martin Brenner, a mysterious government scientist who has a complex relationship with Brown's telekinetic heroine, Eleven, who refers to him as "Papa."

It is still unknown if Modine oversaw the recent small ceremony or if he will act as officiant at the upcoming celebratory ceremony.

Speaking of his duties for the couple's big day, Modine, 65, said: "I have one of those licenses to get people married and Millie thought it’d be great and then Jake said it would be a great idea, so I wrote the wedding vows and they loved what I wrote for them to join hands and to become husband and wife."

"It’s such a beautiful thing to be able to join two people in holy matrimony," he added.

Despite clearly being loved up some social media users have argued that the couple are too young to have gotten engaged and married.

Fortunately, Jake's dad - singer Jon Bon Jovi - defended his son's relationship.

Taking part in a radio interview with Andy Cohen, the legendary rock star said: "I don't know if age matters, if you find the right partner and you grow together, I think that would be my advice, really, is growing together is wise."

Hilariously, Bobby Brown has also made it clear that the iconic rockstar will not be performing at any of the ceremonies, telling Today: "I feel like that's asking me to go and like, do a full-on play for everyone. I think the man needs a break. He doesn't stop."

Brown added: "He's always doing tennis or singing lessons. I think he needs a break, maybe it's a three-hour break."

Referencing a past incident in 2016 when Bon Jovi surprised a wedding audience with an impromptu performance of 'Livin' on a Prayer', Brown stated that the rocker would attend the wedding as a guest, not as a performer. She said: "That would be wild. I don't know if he'll be able to do just that."

A huge congratulations to the couple! We can't wait to see what's in store for you both in the future!
