Miranda Lambert halted her concert to publicly call out some fans who were taking selfies during her performance.

The 39-year-old country singer was performing at the Bakkt Theater in Las Vegas when she spotted a group of concertgoers posing for a photo.

A viral video shared on social media reveals her instructing her band to pause the music during her rendition of the 2016 single 'Tin Man,' and then motioning to the fans to put their phones away.

"I'm going to stop right here for a second," Lambert said. "These girls are worried about their selfies and not listening to the song. It's pissing me off a little bit. I don't like it. At all. We're here to hear some country music tonight. I'm singing some country damn music."

The moment earned hearty applause from the crowd who clearly agreed with Lambert, prompting her to retake the song from the top.

However, not everyone approved of her approach as many commenters under the video - which has now been viewed 3.2 million times - expressed that the women paid for their tickets and could take as many photos as they wanted.

One person pointed out: "They paid their money, what's the problem?"

During a discussion on The View, the 67-year-old Sister Act star said: "If they paid money for the tickets, they came to see her. So if she's singing, at least show a little respect. Acknowledge [that if] you can see her, she can see you too!"

"She can see what you're doing and she can see that you're ignoring her. It's like being a lounge singer. You go into a bar, somebody's at the piano, and nobody's listening! That's what it's like for her," she added.

One of the women who were a part of the selfie group has spoken out and said she was "appalled" by the viral incident.

"It was 30 seconds at most," influencer Adela Cali, who later posted the picture to Instagram, told NBC News. "We took the picture quickly and were going to sit back down."

Calin recalled that she and her friends had tried to take photos before the show had kicked off, but "the lighting wasn’t great," so instead, she asked a fan behind the group to take a photo of them before it ended.

"We just couldn't get one good picture," the influencer said. "We were so excited because I think we had the best seats in the house in the whole theater."

After the 'Drunk' musician's words, Calin told Good Morning America that the concert "was not the same," explaining: "I thought, I feel like I'm being back in school and me and my friends did something that annoyed the teacher and she scolded us so she told us to sit down."

"Everybody was having such a great time. We would stand up at times and dance. It was great energy. But after that happened it was just, um, it was not the same," Calin added.

It would appear that Minaj has no patience for those who can't handle the spotlight.

During her Pink Friday 2 world tour in Las Vegas, the superstar rapper appeared to have a heated exchange with a concertgoer.

Amidst technical difficulties and a late entrance that left fans waiting for two hours, Minaj's show encountered a stumbling block when she invited a fan to sing along during her rendition of 'The Night is Still Young.'

The fan, positioned in the front row, struggled to keep pace with Minaj's performance, leading to a visibly irate reaction from the artist.

In a bizarre moment captured on camera, Minaj forcefully reclaimed the microphone, scolding the fan: "No, no, give me the mic. Give me the mic! GIVE ME THE MIC!"

According to NT News, the fan had previously had a chance to sing and instead of joining in, got her phone out to record the moment.

Minaj then began berating the fan, exclaiming that they just learned a lesson on "living in the moment", telling the fan to "put [their] motherf***ing phone down".

People flooded the comment section with their thoughts, with one person saying: "Imagine wasting that much money to be that close and the performer is mean to you."

A second said: "I feel so bad for her cause I’d be nervous too and then have ur idol looking at u like that."

Others sided with Minaj, as one person said: "Yall are such phone addicts.. The potential video of her singing could’ve been found everywhere on the internet yet she chose to mess that up."

Another added: "Exactly, live in the moment. Who cares if your being filmed or not. Y’all are so annoying in these comments saying she’s rude to her fans. That fan was rude to hold her up so she could film herself."

However, during the same evening, Minaj appeared to forget the words to her own songs on multiple occasions, per News.com.au.

Despite the onstage mishaps, Minaj has been riding high in the music industry, with her album Pink Friday 2 debuting at number one on the US Billboard charts.

This milestone makes Minaj the first female rapper in history to achieve three number-one albums in the US.

The North American leg of the Pink Friday 2 Tour commenced earlier this month in Oakland and is slated to hit major cities including Los Angeles, New Orleans, Atlanta, Philadelphia, Toronto, Chicago, and New York City.
