Yesterday, it was announced that Kylie Jenner had beaten Facebook co-founder Mark Zuckerberg to become the youngest self-made billionaire of all time.

The 21-year-old entrepreneur was officially given the title by Forbes magazine and has her hugely successful company, Kylie Cosmetics, to thank for immense wealth.

Jenner founded the company three years ago and in 2018, Forbes valued it at over $900 million. Since then, Kylie Cosmetics has continued to see a phenomenal rise in sales, launching new lipsticks, liners and "Kylighters" back in January.

However, moments after Forbes announced the honour on their website, British journalist and TV presenter Piers Morgan slammed the mother-of-one on UK breakfast show, Good Morning Britain.

Morgan insisted to his co-host, Susanna Reid, that the young billionaire has her 38-year-old sister Kim Kardashian to thank for her success, due to the leaked sex tape the latter made with ex-boyfriend Ray J.

"I just thought she got it because she made a sex tape," he said. "And that's why they've all become hugely rich, because if Kim Kardashian hadn't made the sex tape which then got leaked and then she took ownership of it and made millions and built a whole billion dollar family franchise around it, none of them would have been heard of."

"So when you say 'self-made billionaire', what you mean is her sister had sex with somebody and the tape got 'leaked' and the whole family cashed in."

"That is, I think, a more honest assessment of this thrilling entrepreneurial story."

Not content with simply claiming Jenner was undeserving of the title formerly held by Facebook's Mark Zuckerberg, he then went on to slam the 21-year-old's physical appearance.

"The thing about Kylie Jenner, she's not even that good looking is she? She's not!" he said. "I would have her at number four on the list of Kardashians, and the ones above her aren't much better."

The response to Piers Morgan's remarks on Twitter was varied. While many rushed to Jenner's defence, others agreed with the provocative TV journalist:

Piers ended the firey rant by calling the Kardashian "momager", Kris Jenner, a "pimp". We can only wait to see if the family will respond to Morgan's harsh words.
