Instead of doing a typical interview, the Duke of Sussex joined the 50-year-old host as they explored the new haunted attraction, "Jimmy Fallon’s Tonightmares,” at the Rockefeller Center.

“Are you easily scared?” Fallon asked Harry at the beginning. “Not normally, but today might be different,” he responded before they both strolled through the maze with cameras strapped to their chest.

Watch the moment below:

The segment begins with an ominous zombie-like character greeting the pair, which startles Prince Harry who curses out loud. It then shows the duo walking through a hallway and being confronted by a figure in white makeup and black rings around her eyes.

“Is that a panda?” the royal asked, as the knife-wielding character suddenly leaped from behind a corner and lunged toward them. “You’re afraid of pandas?” Fallon quipped. “No! I’m not, I’m not,” Harry replied.

In a funny moment, the duke compared a haunted figure wearing a suit to Michael Buble, quipping: "Good job, buddy."

He also left two zombie-looking figures breaking character as they realized that they'd just scared Prince Harry. “Who was that?” one of them whispered. “Prince Harry,” the actor replied, causing the other one's jaw to drop as she fanned herself.

At the end of the experience, Harry pretended to throw a punch after being spooked by a menacing creature while posing for a picture with the TV host.

Prince Harry’s appearance on the late-night show comes after he celebrated his 40th birthday on September 15.

For the first time in three years, the Royal Family sent their first public birthday wish to the Duke, writing: "Wishing The Duke of Sussex a very happy 40th birthday today!"

Along with the message was a picture of Harry smiling, taken in July 2018 during a visit to DogPatch Labs in Dublin, Ireland, when he was still a working royal.

It's been reported that Harry, who is married to Meghan Markle, also received a massive payout from his late great-grandmother, Queen Elizabeth, the Queen Mother.

The Duke of Sussex attended several events in New York City, including The Diana Award. He will fly back to the UK, where he will be the guest of honor for the WellChild Awards in London on September 30.
