The wedding of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry at St George's Chapel in Windsor Castle was easily the most impressive and romantic social occasion of 2018, and for a while, it seemed like the whole planet had gone completely royalty mad. However, now it seems like at least a little bit of the furore has died down, the press have wisely elected to decided to give them some much-deserved privacy ... just in time for the whole thing to start up once again after another British aristocrat decided to get herself hitched. Wow: didn't see that one coming.

Yes, you might not have known this, but another royal wedding is taking place today. Princess Eugenie of York (ninth person in the line of succession to the British throne) and her socialite fiancé Jack Brooksbank, are to be wed today at the exact same place as Harry and Meghan. Their engagement announced by Buckingham Palace back in January of this year, after the couple courted for the last seven years after meeting at a ski trip in Switzerland.

Adorably, Princess Charlotte is making an appearance as one of Princess Eugenie's little bridesmaids, and she looked adorable at the ceremony today. Indeed, social media users were enthralled by the sight of the little girl waving to passersby from the window of the car she was being chauffeured in. Now, if there's one thing that members of the royal family have to get good at early on, it's waving. Seriously, just think about how many people the Queen has waved to during her long and illustrious reign. Millions probably. Her arms are probably tired out from all the waves she's been giving. So with that in mind, it's good to know that little Charlotte is a master of ceremony already.

The extensive guest list for the wedding includes approximately 850 people, including representatives from the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, and charities like the Teenage Cancer Trust, the Salvation Army and the UN Trust Fund to End Violence Against Women, along with Residents of Windsor Castle and the Royal Household staff are also in attendance. Prince George has also appeared at the wedding as a page boy, and looked just as cute as his sister while climbing the steps to the chapel.

The luxurious event is being covered live by several British media outlets, such as ITV and Sky News, with live updates are also due to be provided by the Royal Family and the Duke of York’s social media channels. In any case, congratulations to Princess Eugenie and her new husband on their special day, and a very well done to Princess Charlotte for stealing the show and being cute as a button at the same time. I'm sure she's going to grow up to be worthy of The House of Windsor, don't you?
