Restaurant hostess called out celebs for being rude to her and Hailey Bieber responded

Being a major celebrity means living pretty much incessantly under the coruscating glare of the media spotlight.

It means that nipping out to the corner shop to buy a lottery ticket and a banana is no longer a practicable reality. And while that might not sound like too heavy a price to pay in exchange for fame, adoration, and riches, one can imagine the ceaselessly clicking cameras of the paparazzi get more than a little annoying after a while.

Naturally, there are also times that celebrities' privacy is compromised in a totally unacceptable way, an issue that is often brushed aside.

Yet, being famous in the 21st century means you are liable to be scrutinized and called out by pretty much anyone.  And recently, one restaurant hostess has taken to social media video-sharing app TikTok to call out a bunch of celebs who had been rude to her in the past.

That's right, TikTok user @juliacarolann has been spilling the tea in a two-part video uploaded to the platform, which is titled, "Rating celebrities I met while working as a hostess in a fancy Manhattan restaurant."

"These are just my personal experiences, pls take with a grain of salt," she captioned the first clip.

Perhaps due to the extremely tantalizing nature of the clip, it has gone well and truly viral, amassing more than 13 million views.

We kick off proceedings with the Hadid sisters, who score very well with 10/10 for their kindness towards staff.

However, Kylie Jenner was given just 2/10 based on an allegedly small tip she gave on a $500 meal, while Cameron Dallas was rated at 4/10 after apparently pulling a "do you know who I am" moment in order to secure a table booking.

And then we come to Hailey Bieber, who Julia gives a 3.5/10 rating. "I've met her a handful of times and she was not nice. I really want to like her but I give her, like, a 3.5 out of 10. Sorry." she said.

The remarks somehow managed to make their way back to Hailey Bieber, who responded in the comments to apologize. She said she was "so sorry if I've ever given you bad vibes or a bad attitude. That's not ever my intention!"

And in another comment, Bieber said "Hate hearing that was your experience with me but glad u called me out so I can do better!! Hopefully we meet again so I can apologize in person."

And Julia responded to Hailey's comments, praising her for being accountable and thanking her for her apology.

"Hi Hailey! We love an accountability queen[...] thanks sm for taking the time to apologize - I hope we can meet again one day and start over," she wrote.
