All one Marvel fan wants for Christmas is tickets to the Avengers: Endgame premiere. However, he got the next best thing when he was sent a gift from Ryan Reynolds himself.

A Twitter user going by the username @AGuyInChair was desperate to attend the glitzy opening of the new Avengers movie in April 2019, so came up with an elaborate ploy to get himself there.

On the day Avengers: Infinity War hit theatres (i.e. before fans knew for sure that the next film would be called Avengers: Endgame), he decided to guess the name of the new movie and buy the avengersendgame.com and avengersendgamemovie.com URLs.

Being an absolute rascal, when the name of the new film officially came out, he resolved to trade the websites for something close to his heart.

Writing on Twitter, he posted: "I own and . But I don't want them. I want to trade them for tickets to the #AvengersEndgame premiere in LA. A guy can dream, can't he?"

He proceeded to try to get in touch with Marvel in an attempt to offer them a deal. However, after getting no response from the movie studios, he changed tactics.

In true troll fashion, he redirected both URLs to send fans to the Deadpool website, which is currently promoting their toned-down holiday recut of Deadpool 2, Once Upon a Deadpool.

While the move didn't gain him tickets to the premiere of Avengers: Endgame, it did gain him big respect from fellow trolling expert, Ryan.

The 42-year-old actor soon paid attention to @AGuyInChair's prank and decided to send him a special gift to show his appreciation for the joke: a sleek Aviation Gin case with headphones, a cocktail kit and other expensive presents inside.

Nonetheless, while the troll appreciated the actor's gift, he still hadn't gotten what he wanted, and made it clear by writing on Twitter: "Package from @VancityReynolds just arrived! Wow! This thing is beautiful!!! And I will trade it immediately for 2 tickets to the #AvengersEndgame premiere! Any takers?"

He added: "Holy crap! There’s stuff inside too! (These have got to be worth two tickets, right?) They’re from Canada! Or a Canadian at the very least!!"

Ryan wasn't fazed by @AGuyInAChair’s response, instead deciding to reply in typical Deadpool fashion, commenting: "This isn’t to say I’m proud of what you did. Just that I happen to love you."

The anonymous social media user was clearly bowled over by the Hollywood star's response on Twitter, replying with a gif of a man falling out of his chair.

So, will @AGuyInChair get to attend the Avengers: Endgame premiere in the end? Who knows, but we are sure about one thing: he and Ryan are made to be BBFs. They're the best trolls we know.
