Tammy Slaton, star of 1000-lb sisters, has shared a new snap of herself and fans are flooding her with praise after she showed her amazing weight loss.
Rising to fame through the television show 1000-lb Sisters, Tammy's story from battling her weight to reclaiming her life has riveted audiences. Long confined to a wheelchair due to her weight, the 37-year-old has triumphed over adversity.
Earlier this year, Tammy revealed a nearly 400-lb weight loss, per The US Sun. Her triumphant strides included standing and walking unassisted but she still had to use an oxygen tube to support her breathing.
Since this incredible transformation, the star has uploaded a new snap of herself to Instagram, showing how far she has come.
The candid snaps appear to be taken in a restroom, and the mirror selfie really demonstrates how much effort she has put into her weight loss journey, and fans can also see this.
Naturally, the comments were flooded with praise from fans who have been following her progress since they first started watching the show.
One comment read: "You look amazing Tammy we have watched all [your] shows. You really are an inspiration."

Sadly, earlier this year Tammy's husband Caleb Willingham passed away at the age of 40.
In an emotional statement, Tammy expressed her deep sorrow: "I am devastated to share the news of my husband’s passing. He was my best friend and I loved him dearly.
"When I met Caleb he became my guardian angel and now he really is watching over me. Our families appreciate everyone’s sympathy and ask that you respect our privacy at this time."
TLC, the network that hosts the show that brought Tammy into the limelight, also extended their condolences: "We are deeply saddened to learn of Caleb Willingham’s passing. Our condolences go out to Tammy, his family, and friends at this difficult time."
Amid her deep grief, Tammy penned a heartfelt message: "Rip sweet angel you will forever be missed and loved so much thank you Caleb for showing me real love and happiness."
