Tammy Slaton has shown off her incredible weight loss in a skin-tight summer dress.
Since finding fame on the show 1000-lb Sisters, fans have been captivated by Tammy's journey to shedding the kilos and overhauling her life after years of being confined to a wheelchair. Previously weighing over 700 lbs, she revealed to fans in March that she'd lost a whopping 300 lbs, and was able to stand and walk unaided, but still used an oxygen tube to help with her breathing.
The TLC star has been working hard over recent years to get to a healthy weight after struggling with obesity and an addiction to food.
The 36-year-old's weight loss was documented on the show after she dropped 183 lbs following her stint at a food rehabilitation facility after struggling to reach the weight needed to qualify for bariatric surgery, as reported by The Mirror.
During the most recent series of the TLC show, Tammy hit her goal weight after she dropped from 717 lbs to 534 lbs, and posted pictures on Instagram of her dramatic change. At the time, she expressed her happiness in shedding weight, saying: "When I got on the scale and I saw the scale was at 534.7, I kinda stopped breathing for a second. I'm like 14 lbs. under my goal weight.
"From over 700, that's a huge drop. I'm feeling thrilled, proud, excited - just all the emotions. I proved everybody wrong. Everybody that doubted me, I finally got mine! My told-you-so moment," she added.
Tammy also met her husband Caleb Willingham while recovering from the weight loss surgery, with the couple getting engaged in October 2022 before marrying a month later in an intimate ceremony with their family and closest friends.
Taking to Instagram recently, Tammy flaunted even more off her stunning weight loss in a rare, unedited selfie - where she sported a floral, floor-length gown that hugged her curves. The 36-year-old also wore her ginger hair in a loose style.
Many of her followers took to the comments section to praise Tammy, with some questioning where her husband Caleb was, given that the pair were separated when Tammy left the weight loss facility after reaching her goal weight in February. Unfortunately, Caleb had to remain at the clinic.
While the pair's public Facebook pages still currently list their relationship status as 'married', fans have noticed that Tammy changed her name on TikTok from Willingham back to Slaton.
Reddit users also dug up a post made on Caleb's private Facebook, where he wrote: "If you were here only for my wife, then please delete me now. We are married by paper only right now. Her decision not mine. It was more than that. I'm hurt, mad, confused and alone even with others around." The couple has not confirmed whether they have, in fact, split.
