The 55-year-old caused a social media storm this week by stepping out publicly with a purported girlfriend - something that he hasn't done in decades. Reeves attended the LACMA Art + Film Gala Presented By Gucci in Los Angeles with visual artist, Alexandra Grant, and the pair were seen holding hands.

The infamously private A-lister rarely speaks about his private relationships, making this an usual move. His last public girlfriend was with actress Jennifer Syme, who gave birth to their daughter Ava Archer Syme-Reeves in 1999, who was sadly stillborn.

The couple proceeded to split, and a few months later Syme passed away after the car she was driving collided with a row of parked cars.
