Tina Turner has paid tribute to her "beloved son" Ronnie, who sadly died at the age of 62.
Ronnie died on Thursday, December 8, and reportedly had a history of health problems.
The LAPD confirmed they received a 911 call on Thursday morning (December 8), stating that an individual near Ronnie's home in the San Fernando Valley, Los Angeles, had passed away.
When paramedics arrived at his home, Ronnie was pronounced dead. The official cause of his death has yet to be confirmed.
Tina shared her late son with her husband Ike Turner.
Taking to Instagram over the weekend, the 83-year-old 'Proud Mary' singer shared a black and white image of herself with her eyes closed. The poignant photo was accompanied by the words: "Ronnie, you left the world far too early. In sorrow, I close my eyes and think of you, my beloved son."
The heartfelt post has been liked over 129,000 times and has received thousands of comments from fans passing on their condolences to the legendary performer.
One fan wrote: "You know better than us that everything happens for a reason....Let his soul fly to the light.... I pray for You We love you Tina."

Ronnie had been married to French singer Afida Turner since 2007. She shared a social media tribute of her own, writing: "My God Ronnie Turner a true angel, huge soul, highly spiritual.
"My husband, my best friend, my baby. I your mummy, your nurse, I did the best to the end. This time I was no able to save you, love U for this 17 years. This is very very very bad, I am very mad.
"This is a tragedy, U with your brother Craig and your father Ike Turner and Aline. Rest in paradise. So unfair. [sic]"
