Late TV star Todd Meadows' final words have been revealed, months after he passed away while 'falling overboard' during filming for the reality series.
The 25-year-old was one of the 'new members' of the crew, and the deckhand sadly lost his life on February 25, after drowning with possible hypothermia.
At the time, Captain Rick Shelford took to Facebook to confirm the heartbreaking news in a lengthy statement.
Meadows had been working on the fishing vessel Aleutian Lady ahead of Deadliest Catch's 22nd season, as they fished for crabs in the Bering Sea.
Now, the father's final words have been revealed as part of the show's season 22 finale, which aired on The Discovery Channel on Friday (September 25).
The episode featured an emotional segment in honor of the late crew member.

In the season finale, clips from before and after his death were shown, including the final conversation he had with his three children.
He was seen on a FaceTime call with the kids, all under the age of five, telling them he was 'being safe' while promising a fishing trip once he got back.
His daughter said: “I hope you’re being safe, if you’re not being safe, you better be safe.”
“Oh, I’m being safe,” he replied.
Meadows told his son that they could go on a salmon fishing trip when he got back, later telling producers that it was a 'heart-wrencher' to leave his children behind for long periods of time.
He went on: “It’s been one of my dreams and goals to make it up here,” talking about joining the team for the season.
“That’s why I’m up here to make it and to try to support my family.”
The episode also covered the chaos of him falling overboard, without including footage of the actual fall or the following actions of others.
Captain Rick can be seen manning the vessel and asking if everybody was okay, before it was revealed that a man had gone overboard.
He then turns the boat and tells them to ready the ring and crane, saying: “I got my eye on him.”
While they managed to get Meadows out of the freezing cold sea, Captain instructed the crew to perform CPR, telling them off camera: “Come on, man, come on, someone go get the AED right now.”
In tears, he kept telling the crew to 'keep pumping', with a producer dealing the final blow: “He’s gone, Rick.”
Final statement on Todd Meadows' death
A statement on screen was shown, reading: “On February 25th, 2026, deckhand Todd Meadows went overboard.
“After six minutes and twenty-six seconds in the water, he was recovered unresponsive.”
The episode showed the aftermath of his passing and its impact on the crew, before flashing back to a shot of Meadows in the kitchen.
He can be seen preparing food in the kitchen and answers a producer's question about what he would want to tell his children.
Meadows responded: “Work towards your dreams and goals, don’t let anything slow you down. If you put your mind to it, you can do anything.
“Just want my kids to know I want them to work hard and be successful in life.”
