Comedian Jordan Gray certainly made a moment to remember last night during her live appearance on the UK's Channel 4.

The transgender comedian - who also previously appeared on the singing competition The Voice back in 2016 - was part of an all-star line-up on last night's Friday Night Live special.

The show - a return of the popular comedy show in the 1980s - was part of the television station's 40th birthday celebrations, and even saw beloved star Ben Elton return to live British television to host the evening's proceedings.

As well as featuring comedy legends like Harry Enfield and Jo Brand, the show also featured younger talent like Rosie Jones and the aforementioned Gray.

During her set, Gray told the audience and viewers: "This is the coolest night of my life, you’re watching me experience the coolest night of my life."

Playing the keyboard, she then proceeded to perform a satirical song about her experiences and joys as a transgender woman, which included lines such as "I haven’t had a Yorkie bar in five years" and "I'm an arousingly tall mystery in your husband's Google history".

However, it was the end of Gray's performance that will certainly go down in the TV history books. After acknowledging that she was on live TV, Gray stood up, stripped down to her birthday suit, and even ended her performance by playing the last note of her song with her member.

Naturally, Twitter exploded in response to the performance, with many viewers praising Gray's appearance.

One viewer tweeted: "PHENOMENAL!!!! Funny. Challenging. Eye opening. Entertaining. Iconic Telly GOLD!!! Will never be forgotten! Well done #JordanGray."

A second added: "TV MOMENT OF THE YEAR! Jordan Gray (@Talldarkfriend) on the difficulties and joy of being transgender [...] Love this so much".

Another fan added: "When you can say you loved Jordan gray before she was famous. I genuinely adore this human and have loved watching her career grow, she's worked hard for it. She deserves to sell out tours. #FridayNightLive".

"Jordan Gray on Friday Night Live was an amazing reminder of why nothing beats live TV. Holy f***ing s**t," added another.

And a fifth wrote: "I can’t believe I haven’t heard of Jordan Gray before - need to check out some of her other stuff! This was really groundbreaking and I especially love that it will make lots of gammon have a meltdown. "

Of course, there was also plenty of criticism over the performance - but this certainly doesn't seem to be bothering Gray, who tweeted on Saturday morning: "Woke up this morning to the smell of burning gammon. And it is DELICIOUS. Thank you @Channel4 for letting me be a part of comedy history on #FridayNightLive".
