Given the news that Kylie Jenner is on her way to become the youngest self-made billionaire in history - with her net worth currently standing at $900 million - it's evident that the 21-year-old has already taken home 2018.
The makeup mogul, who gave birth to her first child with Travis Scott back in February, is the richest of her seven siblings, thanks to her makeup line, Kylie Cosmetics. And Forbes' report of the entrepreneur details that the brand, which she launched just three years ago, has already amassed $630 million in sales.
The publication predicts that her net worth will top $1 billion within the next year, making her the youngest self-made billionaire - male or female - ever. And she's in good company too, the co-founder of Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg, previously held this record after becoming a billionaire at 23.
Now, regardless of whether you agree with Forbes's assertion that she's "self made" or not, there's apparently more to the subject than just that, according to the reality television star's ex-boyfriend, Tyga.
Tyga recently laid claim to the success of Kylie Cosmetics while speaking on Nicki Minaj's Apple Music Queen Radio show. The rapper, who had an on-and-off relationship with the young entrepreneur over the course of three years, alleged to have had "a lot to do" with his ex-girlfriend's prosperity - but went on to state that he doesn't want any of the credit.
"I had a lot to do with all that, which I don’t need credit for. I don’t need to go online and tell people I did this and I’m the one helping her coming up with these colours and names on her … lip line. It was a lot of stuff," he said on the radio show.
The 28-year-old then revealed that he always believed that Kylie was destined for success, and discussed how her star would have risen even without his help. "She always had a platform and she was always destined to be what she was going to be regardless, but, when I stepped in, there was a lot of codes being taught. ‘It was like, you could do this, you should start this, you should start doing your hair like this,'" he elaborated.
When questioned about his current feelings towards the beauty mogul, and whether he missed her, he replied "Nah, I’m good. I’m good love, enjoy."
"I’m not a bitter person … if we break up, we break up," he continued. "We had a good time and kept moving, and we went our separate ways and we’re both doing good."
Kylie is certainly doing well - in business and beyond. Earlier this month, it was rumoured that Kyle is talking about tying the knot with her current beau and baby daddy, Travis Scott. As a source explained to Entertainment Tonight, "Kylie and Travis have been inseparable lately, and their love for Stormi just seems to bring them closer every day."
