Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott, whose first child was born earlier this month, first got together back in April 2017. Since then she was seen with the rapper at various events alongside one another that year, with things looking like they were getting serious by time they revealed they had gotten matching butterfly tattoos.
In September, Jenner went into hiding from the public for an undisclosed reason, while many of her fans theorised this could be because of a pregnancy. In the ensuing months, we were left with many clues regarding the disappearing act, but it took until the beginning of February before we had any confirmation.
Kylie posted a statement to her Instagram account that read:
"I'm sorry for keeping you in the dark through all the assumptions. I understand you're used to me bringing you along on all my journeys. my pregnancy was one I chose not to do in front of the world. I knew for myself i needed to prepare for this role of a lifetime in the most positive, stress free, and healthy way i knew how. there was no gotcha moment, no big paid reveal i had planned. I knew my baby would feel every stress and every emotion so I chose to do it this way for my little life and our happiness."
She also included a link to a 11-minute video which depicted her and Travis' journey through the pregnancy all the way to the birth of her little girl, Stormi.
Despite the focus being on these new parents at this time, it wasn't that long ago that she was with a different rapper, Tyga, and some have been wondering where exactly they stand.
The couple had an on-again, off-again relationship since 2014, finally splitting in April 2017, right before the reality star got together with Travis. While there have been some rumours over his thoughts on the news, Tyga hasn't said anything publicly about the birth, until now...
During an interview on the morning show Everyday Struggle, he was asked about their split, and he replied:
"You just get older, you feel me? ... It was a relationship in front of the world, and that was it."
"She has her new life, I have my new life, and that’s it. There’s no bad blood, no problems...there's no drama."
However, he did admit that they do "communicate here and there", even if they have both moved on in their lives. And when he was asked about the idea of meeting baby Stormi, he laughed it off.
While this is what he's saying publicly, there have been rumours behind the scenes that he has some questions about the pregnancy - namely, is it his?
An inside source close to the rapper said that, "Tyga wants a DNA test" and he told friends that "he was still sexually active with Kylie nine months ago, when this baby was likely conceived". Whether this is true or just someone jumping on the rumour bandwagon is yet to be seen.
