In this digital age, literally anyone can become famous. Whether it's a girl shouting 'how bout dat!' during an appearance on a talk show, or the endless legions of pranksters that clog up our Facebook feeds, it seems like all you have to do to become an internet sensation is cause a bit of a stir. While it's easy to become annoyed at these people, by talking about them, we're giving them exactly what they crave - attention.

But, when these personalities begin to set chins wagging on the internet, you can't help but get drawn in by all the furore. One person who seems to have refined this skill of constantly being a subject of discussion is WoahVicky.

For those of you who are (luckily) unaware of who WoahVicky is, she's a teenager from Atlanta who has made a name for herself after claiming that she is African American when, quite clearly, she isn't. All evidence points to the teen, whose real name is Victoria Waldrip, being white, despite her bizarre claims.

However, while many people have laughed off a lot of the claims made by the 17-year-old, her most recent allegations against the police have caused quite a stir online. Vicky and her friends were arrested by police at a mall last weekend and, according to the teenager, the "reason for arresting us is because there were too many kids coming up to us asking for pictures."

She claims that the police and mall security, who arrested both her and her unnamed friend, racially profiled her. According to the New York Post, Waldrip claims that the Greensboro Police Department was acting in a racist manner towards her counterpart.

The influencer posted a two-part video on her Instagram, in which a friend recorded the fracas between officers and Waldrip. In the footage, it's clear that the teenager is being manhandled by the police at the Four Seasons Town Centre Mall in Greensboro, North Carolina. Uploading the footage onto her Instagram, Vicky made sure to caption them with the now-deleted hashtag #blacklivesmatter.

According to the Greensboro Police Department, WoahVicky has been charged with trespassing, assault on a law enforcement officer and resisting arrest. A mall spokesperson said that Vicky and her friends were afforded "multiple opportunities to leave" the establishment before they were arrested.

However, rather than listening to the warnings, Vicky and her friend decided to begin 'acting disorderly', causing people in the mall to panic.

According to their spokesperson, who spoke to The Blast:

"Several other juveniles inside the mall began running around and screaming."

"As all that was transpiring an unidentified individual shouted something about shots being fired and panic ensued throughout the mall.

"GPD received multiple calls of shots fired and/or an active shooter in the mall."

The pair were released the next day and footage emerged of Vicky returning home and hugging a black male who she dubs as 'uncle.'

Despite her multiple claims that she is black, Vicky recently let it slip that she is, in fact, white. Prior to the revelation, WoahVicky could be seen in videos using the N-word and claiming that "she always knew she was black".

While racial profiling is sadly a thing that exists in the police force, in order to talk about how you have been racially profiled for being black, you need to be black.
