Dave Grohl has recently admitted that he cheated on his wife and has fathered a baby with another woman - and the Swifties are having a field day with this information.

The Foo Fighters star, 55, took to Instagram to share a statement confirming that he has had a fourth child with a woman that is not his wife, and that he is now working to "regain" the trust of his wife and kids.

He wrote in the post: "I’ve recently become the father of a new baby daughter, born outside of my marriage.

"I plan to be a loving and supportive parent to her. I love my wife and my children, and I am doing everything I can to regain their trust and earn their forgiveness."

He added: "We’re grateful for your consideration toward all the children involved, as we move forward together."

See the post below:

Grohl has been married to Jordyn Blum, 48, since 2003, having first met in 2001, and the couple shares three daughters of their own.

And while many fans were left disappointed by the musician's revelation, Taylor Swift's fans took the news and ran with it.

It comes after Grohl took a swipe at Swift back in June while performing in London, by suggesting that her Eras Tour band did not play live.

He performed at the London Stadium on the same night Swift was performing at Wembley Stadium, and told the crowd: "We were joking about the Taylor Swift tour earlier. I know that she's on her Eras Tour.

"I tell you man, you don't want to suffer the wrath of Taylor Swift. So we like to call our tour the Errors Tour.

"We've had more than a few eras, and more than a few f***ing errors as well. Just a couple."

Grohl then added: "That's because we actually play live. What?

"Just saying. You guys like raw live rock 'n' roll music right? You came to the right f***ing place!"

However, with the current news, many of Swift's fans have claimed it is karma for speaking ill of the singer.

They took to Twitter to share their glee, writing: "The audacity of Dave grohl to throw shade at Taylor swift and then be a cheater on top of it? Sick."

Others added: "Remember when Dave Grohl went after Taylor Swift a few months ago and then the Tay-voodoo hit today," and: "Dave Grohl was confirmed bad when he was an arse about Taylor Swift so it’s giving karma is the child born outside of your marriage isn’t it?"
