Will Smith has taken to Instagram to share a picture of himself wearing just underwear after admitting to being in "the worst shape" of his life.

The 52-year-old 'Men In Black' star was praised by his fans for his candid honesty earlier this week after he uploaded an honest picture in which he showcased his post-lockdown physique.

In a caption addressed to his 53 million followers, the 'Fresh Prince of Bel-Air' star himself admitted: "I’m gonna be real wit yall - I’m in the worst shape of my life. [sic]"

The actor's unfiltered post about his lockdown body clearly went down well with the general public as it's now racked up more than 6.4 million likes and further 95,000 comments as of the time of writing.

Smith has now shared yet another, even more revealing, picture of his post-lockdown self, in a bid to normalize more diverse body types in the wake of the global pandemic.

Encouraging others to get back into fitness, Smith stripped down to his underwear as he wrote:

"This is the body that carried me through an entire pandemic and countless days grazing thru the pantry. I love this body, but I wanna FEEL better.

"No more midnight muffins…this is it! Imma get in the BEST SHAPE OF MY LIFE!!!!! Teaming up with @YouTube to get my health & wellness back on track. Hope it works! [sic]"

The actor's fans were just as supportive of him as they were the first time around, and promptly took to the comments to share their praise.

Former wrestler and bodybuilder Kai Greene then encouraged Smith's future workout sessions, as he wrote: "Not bad, not bad [...] a great base frame to work off of!

"The creator holds the vision and the idea in a matter of bringing it to life! Your thoughts become those very things."

While another follower added: "This is 80% of us right now."

So if you're struggling to rejoin the gym, go for a run, or stick to a new diet plan, then just take a leaf out of Will Smith's book, and remember that we're all human.
