Chris Evans is looking for 'the one'.
The Captain America star, 41, revealed that he wants to settle down - and that he's searching for the perfect partner to do it with.
Unsurprisingly, many of the actor's fans have stormed social media, saying that they would be more than happy to fill the hole in his heart.
The topic of searching for a soulmate first came up when Evans was promoting his latest movie, the Netflix blockbuster The Gray Man.
In the film, Evans plays an evil assassin who's hell-bent on tracking down his target (Ryan Gosling). During an interview with Shondaland, the actor was asked whether he had ever been "laser-focused" on anything in real life to the same extent.
Clearly impressed by the question, Evans said: "Okay, good question. Thank you for a good question. My goodness. Laser focus — you know what? We’re gonna do this. I’m gonna give you a good answer."
After pausing for a moment, he continued: "The answer would be that maybe [I’m] laser-focused on finding a partner, you know, someone that you want to live with."
The Knives Out star went on to explain that he's passionate about making movies - but that he wants to find that some passion for a partner.
"I mean, look — I love what I do. It’s great; I pour all of myself into it. But in terms of — even this industry is full of pockets of doubt, hesitation, and recalibration in terms of really trying to find someone that you really can pour all of yourself into," he said. "Maybe it’s about trying to find someone that you’re looking to spend your life with. Yes, so maybe it’s that."
Ever since Evans let slip that he's hunting for a significant other, fans have been clamoring to let him know that they're available for the position.
"I volunteer as tribute," one tweeted, while another wrote: "I volunteer," and a third chimed in: "I'm ready and willing."
"My time has come," an optimistic fourth fan tweeted.
Evans has previously dated several fellow A-Listers, including actors Jessica Biel and Minka Kelly. Most recently, he was linked to actor and comedian Jenny Slate, but the two called it quits in 2018.
