Weird Al Yankovic has shared an official first look at Daniel Radcliffe in character as the iconic comedic music star.
The Harry Potter star has transformed into notorious comedic musician Weird Al for the upcoming biopic Weird: The Al Yankovic Story.
He may have dark hair and glasses, but Radcliff looks almost unrecognizable from his days as the famous boy wizard, thanks to a thick mustache and massive curly hairdo.
"It never fails - we’re trying to shoot a movie here, and this cosplayer weirdo tries to crash our set. Ugh," he wrote.
"I mean, I love my fans, but… boundaries, people! Don’t worry, we had security throw him out," Yankovic added.
The comedic musician has made a name out of parodying famous artists, including the likes of Michael Jackson, Eminem, and Nirvana. Alongside his hilarious spoofs, he's also churned out a fair few albums including his last one - Mandatory Fun - which won a Grammy Award for Best Comedy Album.
Roku Channel original movie Weird: The Al Yankovic Story is being directed by Eric Appel (Brooklyn Nine-Nine) and was co-written by both Appel and Yankovic. Per Screenrant, the flick will be "a truly unbelievable journey through Yankovic’s life and career, from gifted child prodigy to the greatest musical legend of all time."
Fans of Yankovic and Radcliffe were quick to comment on the snap. Many took the opportunity to make some Harry Potter-related wise cracks.
"Harry Potter looks a little different…" wrote one.
"The polyjuice potion worked," joked another.
"Hope he wands up being a wizard on the accordion. 100 points to Daniel!" a third person added.
Meanwhile, one user pointed out the irony of Yankovic - who is famous for playing other people - being impersonated by someone else.
"I can’t believe it. I mean, who would try to impersonate YOU? that’s just unprofessional," they commented.
And other users were just curious to find out whether Radcliffe had been getting accordion lessons off Weird Al himself.
"I'm really excited to see Daniel Radcliff play the accordion. Now the question is were you his teacher," they wrote.
