Netflix viewers have hailed one of the streamer's new series as a '10/10' watch after being left terrified and anxious by each episode.
Dear Child recently arrived on Netflix and the German thriller, which comes with English subtitles or dubbing, is based on the novel of the same name by Romy Hausmann.
The miniseries follows the story of a woman, Lena, who is found after being hit by a car while fleeing through a forest, leaving her in a serious condition in hospital.
When she wakes, she doesn't know where she is, how long she has been in the hospital, or even her name, but knows that she has suffered a sexual assault among other things.
Her daughter, Hannah, who is also with her in the hospital appears to also be injured, but suspicions start to raise that everything may not be as it seems.

It also emerges that Lena went missing 13 years earlier as her desperate family searches for answers - but believe the woman in the hospital bed is not their daughter.
