Drew Barrymore is keeping it real with us - as per usual!
The talk show host recently admitted that she hadn't shaved in three months in a hilarious video posted to her Instagram account.
The 48-year-old had a seemingly stressful morning on Monday after the alarm in her Manhattan apartment went off while she was in the middle of a little bit of self-care.
"You cannot make this stuff up," Barrymore says in her Instagram Reel as the alarm continues to blare loudly in the background. "I was so excited. I was finally shaving after three months but the house alarm is going off."
Watch the video below:While she's speaking, she's standing in a towel with her hair up in a messy bun - a classic look for any woman that is embarking on a full-body shave. Not only that, but Barrymore still had the remains of shaving foam peeking out from her armpits as she shakes her head at the camera.
When the noise finally stops, the 50 First Dates actress pans over her bathtub and says: "Well, that bath is just over. I did get to shave though — under absolute stress and duress and panic — but I got it done. So the joke's on you, house alarm."
Alongside the hilarious clip, the talk-show host added that she was remaining positive despite the minor inconvenience, writing in the caption: "You can not make this stuff up! Just a moment that I will not let get the best of me... I'll laugh instead."
Since it was posted yesterday, the video has amassed thousands of views as well as comments from the 48-year-old's followers who shared her amusement at the scene.
Singer-songwriter Chloe Bailey commented saying: "Yes! you got it done, that’s all that matters," with a heart-face emoji.
"Not that it helps, but you’re an absolute goddess for posting this," added another social media user.

We love you so much! Thank you for being real, and raw and transparent. You are magical and we are grateful for you. Dang house alarm."

The news comes just shortly after Barrymore admitted that she didn't believe shaving was a form of self-care.
Speaking to InStyle, the Charlie's Angel's star stated that she had other forms of self-care that bring her more pleasure than just having a "f****** bubblebath."
"Self-care and I are not friends," she told the outlet. "My legs aren't shaven. I try to clip my nails down because I don't like dirt under them. I try to work out three times a week with girlfriends, and I usually make it two days a week, which is something."
She continued: "Three days a week is the goal. Sometimes, if I have time, I can do four days a week. It's just that there's no time."

Barrymore then admitted that self-care comes from making sure her children are equipped and ready to go in the mornings.
"Self-care for me is having my kids' stuff organized to get out the door in the morning, lined up. That's self-care. It doesn't seem like it, but it is, because this f****** bubble bath approach is so irritating," she said, before adding: "That doesn't bring me self-care or joy. Having my kids' stuff in a system, lined up, their shoes and their jackets and their backpacks, that makes me feel like I won the morning."
