Former Duck Dynasty star Sadie Robertson, 22, has shared a body positivity message about stretch marks on Instagram.

The end of 2019 has been a special time for the young woman, who married beau Christian Huff in a Christian ceremony last month. Now that she has begun to settle into married life, she has taken the opportunity to reveal how it's changing her for the better.

In the video below, Robertson praises her Christian faith:

She revealed that her new husband said, "Whoa babe your stretch marks are so cool," a comment which prompted further thought about her stretch marks. "I'm finding it's pretty cool that the things I was insecure about, my husband thinks are the best," she captioned her post.

"I think that the things most people are insecure about are the things we think are the best on the ones we love," she continued. "Smile lines, face wrinkles, stretch marks, scars that say we made it through something hard, and all the other things we notice in the mirror that bother us, our friends and family notice and love."

Robertson then took the opportunity to give her followers some advice, writing: "Just think about it... if we love it for other people let's just start loving it for ourselves too - it would make life a lot more fun."

The stunning pictures and message have been 'Liked' more than 475,000 times since Robertson shared them earlier this week. And many of the actress' 3.6 million followers shared their love in the comments section:

This is not the first time the 22-year-old has shared an inspiring message to her followers. She regularly writes about confidence on her blog, Live Original, and made another recent post praising her followers for their support and advice on her new marriage.

"We've truly been so thankful. It's brought so much joy and excitement for our life and future together!" she said of her feedback. "Our people haven't been fluffy about the hard parts of marriage, but they’ve been more than supportive and celebratory cheering us on to walk in it!"

"We are so thankful for the examples around us and all the advice!" she added. "God's design is awesome and what He does through marriage is something we are so excited to step into."
